Cole HaanMen's Williams Wingtip Oxford

First look - These are a great quality and great looking Oxford wingtip style shoe with brogue detailing (perforation patterns) along the seams. The leather uppers are good quality, firm, and polish up nicely. Unusually - compared with other brogue wingtips - there are no perforations on the center of the main part of the toe of the shoe, so the only brogue-ing is along the seams. I've come to like this as it's easier to put a nice shine on the toe.The soles are leather with rubber heel and rubber over the forefoot, so no slipping and sliding on the first wear.Comfort - I've only had the shoes a week, so I cannot yet comment about durability or quality over the long term. In the short term, these were comfortable straight out of the box and I was able to wear all day long with minimal discomfort - just because the shoe is quite firm at first, and it rubbed just a bit at the back of my ankle. After three or four wears, it was still firm, but no more rubbing. No foot fatigue and nicely supported.Fit - I think this is marginally on the narrow side. I ordered a 9 D (Medium) and I don't have wide feet or high arches, but it's still quite snug around the base of the lacing. It's beginning to ease up after a week of wear, so maybe this won't be an issue.I will update the review after having these for longer and putting some miles on them.

Don’t like rubber soles. Black pair of shoes were delivered to adjoining ranch. This was a post office problem-had I had not seen post office van shoes would have been left out in weather!

So four month's in and these bad boys are still intact and shiny as new! Not sure what a lot of the other bad reviews are but for my first pair of Cole Hans I'm loving them and highly recommend them. I take good care of these, no rain or no abuse other then to walk in them. The soles are perfect, the stitching is perfect, the laces are perfect and the size is perfect. Planning on buying two or more pair's for myself and my son!

I have 5 pair of Cole Haan shoes, these are my sixth pair. The fit well, look nice. But...they are a little cheaply made compared to my other leather shoes. Much more flexible and the leather seems not as thick. Overall a decent pair of shoes. I was expecting a little bit better quality in materials. Craftsmanship is pretty good as always.
