Taller than I expected
Bought this for my husband because he gets really hot in his sleep and stops breathing. This has helped so much. He hasn't woken out of his sleep since we got it. It has different levels of air flow which is great. The air blows strong and is not loud at all. Just sounds like a normal fan. The remote feature is awesome especially if your a lil lazy lol. He is very very happy with this. Would definitely buy again!

Wobbly yet great air!
So far so good! A bit wobbly and kinda hard to put together at the bottom but it is nice. I like the settings, could be stronger but it’s really good for the price and the air comes out super cold! This is my 2nd day with it and i’m impressed! Definitely would recommend!!

Well it could have been 5 stars if........
I'm fairly finicky about a "Fan", because to me there needs to be a "Quiet" speed that simply moves some air in the room, and doesn't make noise doing it (much like a ceiling fan on low). I used to have an OLD Super Silent Awesome Tower Fan, but after 15 years its "push button" controller burned out, and the fan stopped working. So I went on the hunt for a new fan. This Hunter is the 3rd attempt. When you first turn this fan on, at speed 1 it is UTTERLY SILENT (I was floored and happy). It also moved a decent amount of air at speed 1. I thought, wow, this is perfect!Sadly though after about 10 minutes running, it 'speeds up' to a low woosh, and pushing more air. Why it does this is beyond me (something with electronics warming up I dunno)... but it goes from being an absolute gem of silent cool air, to a constant white-noise woosh of air. At speed 1.Speed 2 is too noisy, and speed 3 is like holy flying cows in a tornado. I mean, speed 3 is good if you need to sit in front and cool down after being out doing yard work. But its not for the faint of heart.Granted this fan does not say anywhere that it is "Cool and Quiet" or "Silent Running" (unlike some other fans I bought which tout that in their name, yet are so loud I can hear them downstairs). Some other notes:It has a "breeze mode" (2 settings, low and high breeze mode). Well, this breeze mode on setting 1 would be nice to use, if it didn't randomly toss in that "Speed 3"... which is so loud as I described above. I would have thought a "low breeze mode" would mean it randomize between off, low, and some medium. Then "high breeze mode" would randomize between low medium and high. Nope! Bad programming there... making the breeze modes pointless to me.It has oscillation. Works good. Silent! No crunching, no rattling, no whirring. It silently moves and does it well.Fan sturdiness. I saw some reviews complaining about its wobble (of all things). No wobble. If you put it together right..... and even then, its not like a toy you horseplay with. It just stands there, on the floor... blowing air.Remote. Remote works. Decent distance. Sometimes you have to raise your arm up high to get it, especially if its oscillating. Not a big deal. I don't mess with the settings much when I have it at the settings I want it at. So I mostly use the remote to just turn it on or off from my desk. There you have it. My nitpicky review. Now... this fan so far has beaten out all others I've tried recently. So its apparently 'the better of the current breed these days'. Its not as great as tower fans USED to be made like... but its good for now.

Great fan!
It does feel wobbly, but it almost seems as if it's designed that way for a reason, though I'm not sure. Whatever the case, as long as it's just sitting there and not being knocked around I don't see how it will be a problem. The base is plenty wide, so I think it would take quite a hit to knock it over.It has so many controls, and comes with a remote. The fan definitely is quiet, but it blows strong. It doesn't blow quite as strong as a regular fan that's on high, but the air that comes out of feels cooler than the air from a regular fan.The best part of this fan for me is its space saving feature. I bought it for my son because he wakes up hot, cranks up the air, and freezes everyone else in the house. But he has a small room that doesn't fit a typical fan very well. This fan fits out of the way between his TV and trashcan.

Moves a lot of air quietly
Works great. Moves a lot of air. Quiet and doesn’t take up much space. 3 fan speeds and optional oscillation. Happy with the purchase.

Better than comparable Honeywell fan.
Bought this fan and the (Honeywell Quiet Set Whole Room Tower Fan 4.3 out of 5 stars $48.37) at the same time. The Honeywell has a sleeker look and a sturdier, better looking base and is a little taller but this Hunter fan had a stronger breeze and a smaller normal style remote with 4 functions while the honeywell remote is a little bulkier & wider with only 3 functions. The Honeywell remote has a slot on the fan to store it though.

Not the perfect, affordable fan you were looking for
Should've been suspicious when I noticed the 3-star and 1-star review hidden, but here we are. There are 3 fan speeds. Fan speed 2 is already obnoxious, and 3 is straight up industrial.I was hoping for a relatively quiet, well-made affordable tower fan. This is not the one.To be fair, though, everything else about it is nice.

Good Fan, Poor Packaging
Bought the fan for our small TV room that lacks ceiling fan (old house). It ventilates well on low, is reasonably quiet, and does the job. The oscillating mode helps. Cons are a very slight chatter from the fan wheel rubbing an internal cable that can probably be fixed with a slight adjustment and poor packaging from the manufacturer, not Amazon. There was skimpy styrofoam padding on each box end and the fan was loose and not secure in the least. Surprisingly, nothing was broken that I can tell, but for the cheap plastic that it is Hunter should do better.
