I Love These Pens!
I usually use Lamy fountain pens, but sometimes I want something that I can use for travel or for being outdoors without worry. These pens write smoothly, have a nice fine line, are durable and last a long time. Unlike other pens, no one ever steals these because they are too unique to be inconspicuously sneaked. I much prefer these to the black Pilot Varsity pens which tend to feather and bleed more. I always have a few of these around.

Love em!
They are not "true" split tip fountain pens, however I am not trying to do calligraphy. For daily use and writing, I really love these things. Not the most regal looking of pens, but they write wonderfully and work without any real issues. Obviously they don't write well at all on glossy paper of course, but other than that I have zero complaints. For what they are at the price they are, I am happy as a clam.

If you love these as we do, stock up! They seem to be discontinued....
This pen is so wonderful and so genius - a fountain pen writing experience without the mess of cartridges or refilling. But they are becoming harder to find and order, bad news for me... :(. I think possibly they didn't advertise them enough and people didn't know they existed, I discovered them quite by accident a few years ago.

Great quality in a disposable fountain pen
This pen writes perfectly the 1st time out of the box and every time there after. The reason I gave it only four stars is that there is a cheap-looking bar code sticker on the cap. I understand these are disposable fountain pens, but they don't have to look the part! It wasn't impossible to remove the sticker, but required some effort. I could see no purpose for this sticker on each item in a box of 10 items. As for the pen itself, It writes perfectly from the first stroke and continues to perform well until the ink is gone. There is no clogging, no ink puddles, no skips, no torn paper, no problems.

Great Value for a decent pen.
These are a great value. These are similar quality to the nicer disposable pens you might buy. What makes them great is two things. They are fountain pens, so the ink just flows. No pressure is needed at all. They are very light weight. Similar to the weight of a common gel pen. Finally the price point. That is what makes them a great value. If I lose one, I am not crying about a $80 pen I left at a Starbucks.I am recovering from a broken wrist, and these are absolutely perfect for me. I can hold them lightly, I don't need to apply any pressure, and these pens just write.

Wonderful everyday pen
I have a Namiki (Japanese brand that is Pilot in the US) fountain pen that I use for most of my writing. I purchased the V pens for a friend who wanted to try out fountain pens. I gave him 5 and I kept 5 for myself. I had used the Varsity pens years ago for everyday use. I think the V pen has a finer nib than the Varsity pen. I had forgotten how much I like them for disposable pens around. I don't like to take my nice pen out of the house. These pens go everywhere with me because I am not afraid of loosing them. By the way, the Varsity pens can be refilled. The nib can be pulled out (gently) with a pair of pliers. I assume that is the case with the V pens, although I have not tried it yet.

Great entry tool to a fun novelty hobby.
Cheap pens that got me into an addictive hobby. If you want to put in the time and attention to take your pens to a weird and unnecessary level, these are a great gateway. Around a month later I've been teaching myself how to write in a fanciful illuminated gothic script and sending the most elaborate inter-office mail possible. They provide some moderate feedback, and present moderate amounts of the difficulties that you'll encounter with any fountain pen. I now regularly give them out as gifts. People are almost always pleased to receive one.

The perfect pen
I'm going to date myself here and confess I started using a fountain pen in school when the ink wells were in the desk. We needed ink blotters to suck up the excess blobs of ink. I do a lot of writing and many times travel with pocket notebooks. This is the first time I have used this style of pilot pen and I was amazed with the smoothness of the nib combined with the feed of the ink across the paper. The pen is lightweight and perfectly shaped to nestle between the fingers as if it is an extension of them. Another key point is the clip, which is rugged plastic and keeps the pen in place and will not eventually bend out like the metal clips on ballpoints. I am now interested to see how long the ink lasts....... I think I will be pleasantly surprised.
