The reusable pad is far more heavy duty than I imagined it would be. It can take a lot of fluid and is far superior to disposable pads.Also, it washes well.BUT buyers should be aware that you will have to foot the bill for duty which adds more than 50% to the costs of this product, when shipped to Canada. Nobles suggest you don't pay it, which is a great Idea if you are not afraid of collections agencies coming after you.I give it 5 stars for product and 1 star for surprise bill a month after the initial purchase.
