Love the puzzles, but two-tone yellow?
Let me start by saying I enjoy this page-a-day calendar and have purchased one each year since 2018. There are a good variety of puzzle types that rotate so you won't see that same type again for at least a few weeks. It's a great way for me to look away from the computer once in a while and use different parts of my brain than what my work typically allows for.So if I love it so much, why the one star deduction? The colors this year are unpleasant and considering it sits on my work desk and is in my peripheral vision for 40 hours each week, it makes a difference for me. Last year the hard cover was a dark blue with the days on the bottom of the page a nice complementary pencil yellow. As shown in the picture, this year they decided to go with a bright yellow hard cover and highlighter yellow on the bottom of each page. I just don't think these colors match one another, plus the highlighter yellow is always a little distracting for me. If the hard cover was just about any other color, this would probably match with the super bright pages, but as it is, it's pretty unpleasant to look at. Not worth taking so many stars away from the enjoyment from the puzzles, but thought it was worth a star deduction.

Good puzzles. Doesnโt stand up with new backing.
The puzzles are the same great puzzles you know. Nothing there has changed much, and theyโre something I look forward to solving every day. What HAS changed, however, is the backing. It used to be sturdy plastic. Now, though, they touted a more eco-friendly alternative, a cardboard folding stand, which Iโm super in favor of. Except the dang thing doesnโt work. The calendar always falls over. I tried to trim the base to make it work, and that worked for a few months until the weight of pages was reduced. But now it just falls over all the time. Can we just have fins that are a little bigger? This is asinine.

I look forward to this every day
I have been buying and using this Mensa 365 calendar for about 5 years now. I actually look forward to the puzzles every day. Some have become quite easy for me, as I know the pattern of the puzzle, and the way the questions or puzzles are presented. But there are still a few puzzles that give me a good challenge. This is a great value for something I look forward to every day at work!

Brain puzzles
I originally bought this product for my elderly mother who loves working puzzles, but she found it too hard, so she gave it back to me. I have been working some of the puzzles, but do find some of them to be challenging to say the least! With that said, if you are someone who loves to be challenged, this definitely is the brain puzzler for you!

Fun puzzles
I love all the puzzles, but I wish they were more space to write down notes to use it better as a calendar. However, I bought it mostly for the puzzles.

Challenging Calendar
This page-a-day calendar is certainly challenging, even for brighter individuals. My only complaint is there are a few puzzles or problems that don't make sense given the directions. The one for today (January 27) is one that doesn't make sense.

Fun puzzles for coffee break
Iโd been using the Word Origins page-a-day (except 2-days-on-a-page on weekends, the cheap b***tards) every year for forever. When it was discontinued, I needed a replacement. I still miss that calendar, but this one is a great substitute. The puzzles are challenging, and sometimes their solutions are instructive in teaching some new trick. But they are not ridiculously difficult, which brings me back every day.

Smart people like these.
Awesome set of puzzles. Not easy, but none of them are stupidly unsolvable either. They make sense, have an awesomely wide assortment of skills, and Iโm on my second year of these. I buy for all my smart friends.

Avoid unless you are American.
Completely American and full of American slang and terms. Not impressed with it at all.

Keep your brain active!
Good mix of Mensa style puzzles. Have had this brand before. Gets a bit familiar by the end of the year but still masses of fun.
