GrisportMen's Wolf Hiking Boot

My previous pair of grisport lightweight boots were purchased around 15 years ago.Primarily for summer/autumn walking they served me well.Light, comfortable totally waterproof.Unfortunately they split at the bridge and began letting in water so time for a new pair.I did not hesitate to purchase Grisport again and have not been disappointed.Tried wearing them in before attempting hillwalking but was not successful and got two blisters on my first outing.Nothing to do with the boots its my feet.Several outings later and I am absolutely delighted with the boots.Quality at a very reasonable price I would thoroughly recommend these boots.Rankin McKee

This is my second pair.I walk a lot, about 30/40 miles per week.The first pair lasted 9 months. So whats that, about 1400 miles out of them? And they still look pretty much like new, but the soles eventually got a hole in the middle, a weak hollow spot. If it wasnt for that I would still wear them now.Comfortable, a nice fit, look pretty good, waterproof, and pretty cheap, so I bought a second pair as at the price I couldnt really find anything better.

"very compfort, all day walking , waterproof, used for few months in work, hiking, fishing and camping stay like new, good made"but after less then a year, walking no more than 4km per week,they are wasted, and worst of all the soles have split.and they are not waterproof at all.:( are very comfort but looks like sole rubber are cheap.be aware

I have had 3 pairs of these boots over the last few years, I walk the dog about 70 miles a week in them and often just keep them on for the day. After you get them muddy and wet a few times and the newness has worn off they become really comfortable. So I can recommend them totally. After about 6 to 8 months of this grinding punishment though the soles of the boots split but for £20 or so the boot mender can re sole them and off you go again. I have had boots mended this way 3 times and thats them done. My latest pair are sitting in the wardrobe ready for impact next week when I'm away in North Devon for a walking holiday with Maya the dog so they will come back looking broken but fitting like a dream. Dissipate the sole thing these are the boots to get they will be your foots next best friend

I have just had my third pair of these boots delivered, if you want lightweight hiking boots for any weather, pooring rain, snow or brilliant sunshine these are the only boots you need, I just hope Grisport continue to make them, these boots always amaze me how light they are for such a robust boot.this is the second pair of these I have bought, the first pair lasted for nearly three years of daily use, great for any weather, steaming hot summers and freezing cold wet winters. the boots are light to wear and comfortable from day one, never once were my feet too hot or cold. Worth every penny. The service was superb as well.

They arrived quickly as ever with Amazon and they appear to be fairly well made but unfortunately they were really small. I ordered a UK size 13 and they appeared to be a size or two smaller and didn't fit. So perhaps order a size larger.Amazon returns/ refund system is very good, I followed the instructions, printed the pre paid label and posted on a Thursday. The money was back in my account by the next Monday very good service thanks.

Bought these not long ago, as I needed a new pair of outdoor/walking boots. First impressions: These are incredibly comfortable boots and are well made. Probably the most comfortable pair of boots I've owned to date. Very light as well, so they won't tire your feet and legs. The cushioned soles are really nice, and when walking over hard surfaces, offer a very light, bouncy feel. The navy ones are really smart looking. Very impressed. The only downside to these are the soles which wear out after a length of time. These could do with decent Vibram soles on them.

Credit where it's due, these boots are very comfy and feel solid with a sturdy sole and good ankle support.However, I bought them specifically because they were described as waterproof. I have had expensive gore Tex boots before which still let some dampness through so I wasn't expecting miracles, just a reasonable level of comfort.These leak like a sieve. I have inspected them to see where the water is getting in and can't see any defects or faults in the manufacture so I don't understand how they let more water in than my £25 hi tec running shoes (no exaggeration).It seems that nowadays you can make any claims you want to sell a product with zero consequences. So, if anyone is interested in buying my new range of anti gravity boots please let me know.

Indossate ieri per la prima volta su un percorso di montagna impegnativo con terreno ghiacciato, a tratti molto fangoso alternandosi a terreni pietrosi, spesso anche in pendenze considerevoli. Attraversati diversi corsi d'acqua. A fine giornata il piede era caldo e asciutto. Le scarpe si presentano comode e leggere, corrispondenti alla stessa taglia che si utilizza per le altre scarpe. Buon appiglio al terreno, mai scivolato. Sembrano anche di buona fattura, non hanno cattivo odore. Al momento voto pieno, molto soddisfatto, ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Ora c'è da valutare solo la resistenza, ma sono fiducioso.

Je ne saurai jamais si le 42 aurait été mieux adapté, dans le 43 mon pied gauche flotte un tout petit peu, mon pied droit est exactement chaussé, le conseil disait pour 42,5 prendre 42 mais 43 pour pied large...La finition, le confort et l'étanchéité sont excellents, après un mois et demi les semelles ne paraissent pas se dessécher, je ne devrais donc pas connaître la fissure dénoncée par un autre utilisateur.A 63,10 € c'est vraiment parfait.

Habe vor ca. 12 Jahren einen ähnlichen Schuh gleicher Marke gekauft und bin bis jetzt (altersbedingte Auflösungserscheinungen der Sohle) so zufrieden damit gewesen, dass ich unbedingt den gleichen gesucht habe und einen ähnlichen gefunden habe. Ursprünglich für Bergwanderungen gekauft, hat er sich hinterher bei vielen Unternehmungen draußen bewährt. Nie nasse oder kalte Füße, keine Blasen und guter Halt und schön leicht. Leider reichen die Damengrößen für meine Füße nicht, aber das macht nichts. Die Herrenvariante ist genauso gut.....

Ho acquistato questi scarponi oltre un anno fa. Dopo un uso normale, sentieri e asfalto, posso confermare la mia impressione. Ottimi scarponi, anzi, considerando il loro costo, davvero buoni. Le rifiniture sono da calzatura di categoria superiore. La gomma che li riveste, abbastanza alta soprattutto nel tallone, permette di attraversare fango e acque basse. La suola non è vibram ma è altrettanto efficace, assorbe bene l'impatto con il terreno duro. Forse è la tomaia che è rimasta un po' più rigida, non ha preso le classiche pieghe che si formano dopo lungo uso. Ma in compenso mantiene stretta la caviglia. Questo è positivo. Interno senza troppa imbottitura, ma non ho riscontrato fastidio al piede. Forse perchè uso calzini spessi. Allacciatura senza troppe pretese, gancio finale andrebbe migliorato. Lacci robusti. Ho preso il numero del mio piede e mi sono trovato bene. Non consiglio di acquistare un numero più grande. Non li ho utilizzati sulla neve, ma su erba bagnata hanno tenuto anche dal punto di vista dell'impermeabilità. Li consiglio per il rapporto qualità/prezzo davvero rilevante.
