OTC 8224 24" Heavy Duty Pry Bar with Ergonomic Handle

Bought this to pop out CV axles on the trails. Main reason I bought it is because the steel at the bend is very thick.The tip has a small beveled edge to help get it in tight spots. If you want to thin it out a bit you can take a grinder to it. Handle is made of a very hard plastic and has rubber grip on the handle.

I thought it would be like the cheap harbor freight one that I had that bent, No way much better than HF worth the money. UPDATE 04/11/2018 being using it almost two years now the OTC print on the side is almost worn off still a great pry bar keep it oiled to the rust away also handle washes up nice with soap and water

I use this little pry bar every day. I have to pry out a locking plate on the equipment that I service for work. The tip is holding up well and the feel is good. Having the metal head to tap on it with out damaging the handle. Bought this one to replace a snap-on one i had for years that jumped out of my tool bag and ran off. I like this one better and would recommend it for everyone and it will hold up to everyday professional use.

Handle rattles and feels cheap

I bought this as a replacement for another one that I had because I was unable to find an original replacement. This one seems to be made fairly well although I would like to have seen the shaft just a bit thicker

I bought this for all those times I'm tempted to just grab a screwdriver. Perfect size. I tapped my first one to the grinder to give just a bit more of a sharp edge for prying better under caps and plugs. Ordering a second to keep in the vehicle.

Aw some pry bar for the money! Very beefy and will last a life time. Shipping was ridiculous bc the box it came in literally could fit 50+ of them!

Haven't had a chance to use it a whole lot, but so far it has stood up to quite a bit of force without bending and the materials all seem to be well chosen on the handle as well.
