Shoei Shield with Pinlock Pins CWR-1 Street Bike Racing Motorcycle Helmet Accessories - Clear - for RF-1200 (Clear)

What can I say? It's a legit SHOEI product. The brand name speaks for itself. Perfect for my RF1200 after the original visor was scratched during a move. Too bad the PinLock insert I got was fake, but this visor is perfect.

Perfect replacement for my Shoei helmet.

OEM/factory Shoei replacement visor for X-14 helmets. Not sure of fitment with other model helmets, but it works great with the Pinlock insert. No fogging in rainy/cold/extreme environment. I ride my 2013 GSX-R 750 year-round here in Tennessee, and can't emphasize enough how valuable a good helmet with a Pinlock insert can be. No more struggling to see when riding at night in rainy cold conditions.

I like the function of these on my RF-1200 helmet. I don't like pinlock inserts. I tried them, including this one, and always tear them out after a few days of nasty extra reflections at night or twilight. So that feature is a nothing-to-me. The visor is nicely fitted to the helmet (wind seal is adjustable on the RF-1200) and the "fog" or cracked-open position works fine behind my fairing. The Shoei fast-change system is easy enough to install or remove, much easier than say Arai's system.Why not five stars? They are a little expensive and I think the plastic scratches too easily. I try to keep them safe but handling scratches accumulate anyway, more than I recall with some other brands. Plexus works great for cleaning these, like every plastic surface I ever tried Plexus on.

The shield arrived in perfect condition and was just a clear as the original the day I bought the helmet. My helmet took a spill off of my bike and it landed shield first on the pavement. Luckily all I had to do was replace the shield and not the whole helmet.
