Was hesitant but now I tell anyone to buy this product
I bought this product a month ago, and as I was looking at the reviews here I was a bit hesitant to purchase this item. After having this item for a month I can tell you that this is a great purchase. I don't know what anybody else is saying but I bought an Anker 65w charger with two USB C ports and one USB port and I have never had a problem with the cable whatsoever. This product has literally been a blessing to me as my previous macbook charger (OEM) no longer worked. It's reliable, I can use the cable on most chargers with USB C, and it still works after a month. Don't hesitate to buy this item.

Works flawlessly with MacBook Air mid 2012 11”
I read on another review, that the usb charger that you intend to use, has to have a profile matching the Watts as the original charger that came with your laptop. My Mac came with a 45W charger, and I’m using now this cable with a Ugreen 65W 3 port charger. The thing is, when both USB C ports are used, one port delivers 45W and the other 15W, so in spite of being a 65W charger, it has the ability of providing exactly 45W as well. This charges my laptop even when the laptop is the only thing connected to the charger, as well as when I’m charging something else at the same time. Perfect product! I got a 45W powerbank that I have not tried yet but I’m sure it will work. I’ll update…

Works great – long live MagSafe 2
My 2013 11-inch MacBook Air came with a 45 watt charger. So I figured my Anker 47 watt Nano 3 USB-C should provide enough power. You know, because 47 > 45 and all. So I picked up this cable and, sure enough, it works like a charm. Definitely charges at least as quickly as the original Apple "white brick" that came with the machine. Now when I travel there's no need to pack two chargers. I can use the Anker charger for two USB-C devices and also use it to charge up the laptop solo. The cable itself seems well made and works perfectly. As others have noted, make sure you have a USB-C with a wattage that's at least what your original Apple brick was rated for, and you should be in business.

Need the right PD profile on your charger for it to work
Original charger was an integrated power block and cable from Apple (60W MagSafe 2 Power Adapter 16.5V 3.65A) that came with my Early 2015 13” MacBook Pro.I tried three PD chargers with the Atcuji cable and only one worked properly. In each case MacOS System Information said the AC charger was supplying 60W, even when using a 45W max charger or a one without a 60W profile. Testing results as follows:- Apple 61W USB C chargerWorks. Appears to charge as normal. Note it does not have a 60W PD profile, though it does have a 61W (20.3V 3A) and I suspect it is using this- Anker 65W Nano IIDoes nothing. It does not have a 60W profile, only 65W (20V 3.25A) and 45W- Anker PowerPort Atom III Slim (Max 45W PD USB C)Cycles constantly between charged, charging and not charging

So far, working great!
I've only used this cable once, and it's working perfectly. With an Anger Power bank that delivers 60W, it recharges my 2015 MacBook Air from 25% to 100% charge in about 90 minutes, maybe a bit longer. I just selected a power bank that will charge and M1 MacBook Pro 14" or 16"; I figure that's robust enough. It is key to get a powerful enough power bank.Only time will tell about durability, but so far so good.

Didn’t work
Tried plugging it in and it started charging my MacBook for like 6 minutes. Got me from 6% to 14% and then it stopped working. Fresh out of the box. So bad.

Works exactly as you'd expect
Works great. Allows me to use any modern USB-C charger to charge my old 2013 MBP. Reliable, no fuss, no excess heat, charges just as fast and convenient as with the native MagSafe charger. Awesome product. Would buy again if I still had more old MBPs.
