Smell lovely and burn well. I ordered a 'Sweater weather' candle and received a lovely hand written note inside and a free candle (lavender). The lavender smell is extremely pleasant and is an authentic smell.Aa for the Sweater Weather smell, is hard to describe, amber/ylang ylang-ey. I got it to burn whilst working from home to help concentrate and it smells like it's going to do the job.Last thing to note is this Is an independent seller on amazon, which I didnt know when I ordered, so the sale means a lot more to them, and the quality of the candles is amazing so it's worth investing in the small business :)

I loved the packaging, presentation and smell of this candle - deliciously warm, sweet and spicy. The handwritten note was also a nice touch.However, the wicks were very short and quite fragile, breaking easily. The first time I lit the candle, only 2 out of the 3 wicks would light as the third was too short, and was drowned in wax. I tried to pour some of the wax off, which was a messy operation, but this didn't work. When the candle was not lit, I tried to dig out the cold wax which was engulfing the wick to give it room to burn, but the wick snapped. Effectively only 2 out of the 3 wicks are now burning, which I'm assuming means that the candle's overall burning time is reduced by a third. For a 500g candle, it only has a burning time of about 20 hours.It's a beautiful, well packaged candle, and I'm so grateful that it's vegan friendly, but at £30, I'd rather have the full burning time.I'd have given it 5 stars without this glitch. I was also surprised not to be contacted by the seller to address this issue.

I am a candle addict, and have at least one or two going daily. I have burned *a lot* of brands, to the most expensive to pound shop fare. That’s why I can confidently say that this Octo candle is of exceptional quality. Although smaller than what you’d get with similarly priced items from other brands, boy did this one pack a punch. Slow burning (remember to trim that wick!) with the most beautiful aroma which just filled the room (my whole flat, really). You can smell the generous and high quality essential oils, blended expertly into a multilayered and relaxing aroma which I loved, and was pleasantly surprised by. Perfect for chilled evenings in. A beautiful, high quality product which I will happily purchase again.

You can think of buying this the night before and get it the next day. It's always a bit hit and miss with candles, and I love any candle with a wood scent and this had juniper as well and I went ahead anyway a tad bit wondering if it would be fruity ( which I try to avoid). Well, It's marvellous. You can almost imagine the person making it, adjusting the perfect amount of oils of different scents to achieve what you get in this little almost shy pot. No flashy labels, no gold, no silly writing, just as bio as it can be. Simple on the outside, but utterly divine inside.

It looks nice and smells ok. Unfortunately the scent is very faint. Had it lit up in a small room for hours and couldn't really smell the candle. I could not justify the price...the size is small and the scent is only there when you open the candle and smell it before lighting it.UpdateAfter burning the candle for a bit the top layer has now melted away. The smell is now stronger. Just wish you could get this result from the start rather than couple of hours into burning the candle

I've never been in an Italian garden tbh but if they smell like this, I'm all for them. This is a seductive and delicious scent, that captures something of a beautiful summer night. Octo candles are the essential little indulgence that are seeing me through lockdown

I had high hopes for this candle - I was looking forward to enjoying the deep rich scents of orange and rosemary -for a £20 candle I expected some strong scents. I was disappointed.First of all, the candle comes in loads of what seems like unnecessary packaging but the candle itself is absolutely tiny - 8cm tall 6cm diameter.Despite burning it for 3 or 4 hours, I could hardly smell anything - I felt swindled, and to be honest using an oil burner with essential oils would give a much better experience.Giving it 2 stars because it does look like it will last a long time.

I am burning rosemary scented candles as I start work each day as a bit of Pavlovian training to focus on work. This is my favorite scent that I found. When burning, it doesn't smell quite as strong as some of my other candles but it is the best smell. The orange scents coming through with the rosemary are just divine. And the card it came with was lovely, the packaging is kind of modern apothecary so it looks especially nice as well. Love it!
