It's heavy!
Ok so assembly was pretty simple, attach the steering column slot on the seat and you're good to go.However, as this is supposed to be portable it's way too heavy to be manipulated in and out of a boot by 1 person. The base which doesn't break down is long and weighs 32Kgs!!! Most normal people would struggle with lifting that let alone when the two lifting handles are so far apart (at each end of the floorplan of the scooter. It also doesn't fit inside the new model Ford Fiesta boot as an answer suggests. It needs the back seats down which then reduces the car's seating capacity from 5 to 3. It was also not a simple job and I'm pretty healthy and able-bodied.We've not yet tested placing in our other car, a C class - we hope it will fit lengthways in that car's boot otherwise it's use will be limited. One other issue is the batteries are under the floor of the scooter requiring it to be close to a plug socket to be charged. The weight of the thing makes that less than ideal when on the road and potentially staying somewhere not on the ground floor and without a lift!Good points decent price, easy to assemble though instruction manual could have been clearer on the operation. As an example, it looked like it wasn't working but there's a delay after starting whilst the scooter checks its circuits before allowing operation.Would we buy again, possibly. Ideally, we'd have had something that was a bit more modular so it would fit neatly in a boot and could be handled by 1 person.

Excellent little scooter
Arrived on time, easy to put together. Husband is 6 foot 5 and we adjusted seat height easily. Fits in our little car a treat.Sadly after a few month this scooter stopped working due to having batteries etc. unprotected underneath.

Lovely Scooter
It looks very stylish. It is very sturdy and well made and surprisingly nippy. It easily dismantles for easy transportation in your car boot.We are looking forward to days out again , as poor mobility issues made it impossible to walk very far.The scooter classification is for pavement only, so you cannot use it for travelling on the road. It's ideal for shopping trips and "strolling" down the promenade.

STEERING COLUMN SNAPPED GOING UP A DROP CURB.
Its a compact scooter, I like the USB feature, steering can be stiff, charger over heats and doesnt charge properly, I contacted the company who requested a new charger, new charger arrived and I still can't use it as its a 2 Pin mains plug, UK plugs are 3 Pin mains. Also the foot pads are only glued on and peel off very easily, the small exposed connector and wiring down the steering column is a bit worrying, its only incased in a cable tidy and there is still a big enough hole in the column for rain to get in. Also it certainly doesn't do 4miles a hour, its more like 2 or 3, basket isn't really big enough. The seat also wobbles from side to side. I wouldn't say its worth the cost these are charging. You can get better scooters for the same price. I got this one as I thought it would be better than my old big bulky one. Cant say if it fits a car boot as not tried it yet, also the battery indicator lights keep flickering on and off so I'm never actually sure what power is in the battery. Apparently all their plugs are for the UK. Well you can see this one certainly isn't. STEERING COLUMN SNAPPED GOING UP A DROP CURB. Only had the Scooter 5 months.

completely utterly fabulous
This is one amazing product for a small mobility scooter well worth the money and it has a head light too! I was so impressed with this and how good it is after we assembled it the only downside is the chair is not that comfy but delivery of it was great and it works and its saved me so much hassle with getting to places and storage for it Is easy because its only a small one anyone looking for a mobility scooter should get this if you can afford it but more suitable for women of a small weight
