STABILOMulti-Talented Pencil woody 3 in 1 - Pack of 6 - Assorted Colors with Sharpener

These are WONDERFUL crayons. They are the texture of a soft map pencil. They are large so they are perfect for my son's tiny hands. What was amazing was the first stroke of the crayon - the colors are vividly vibrant. In fact, whenever I color with my son, two years after purchasing these, they are my go-to tools. I'm an artist so the rich colors and smooth application really appeal to me. It has been very convenient for them to include the sharpener, since these are the only large writing/drawing tools we own I have not had to worry about finding one that fit and that also treated the pencils with care. The sharpener is not like most cheap hand pencil sharpeners that eat up your pencils - a simple twist of the pencil and it is sharp and ready to go. I would absolutely buy these again. They also make great gifts.

I opened them up and I could smell the lovely WOODY pencils - good to see the lower end is incased with the wood. 10 basic colors, enough to blend for different other colors. The 3 in 1 meaning is that they're Pencil, crayon, watercolor. (If you're doing mixed media) I had heard they were similar to Gelatos so I tested on my 98 lb mix media sketchbook, look at my pictures swatches - the yellow was the best, as you can see I gave a 5 stars. Once swatches were dried, I passed my fingers over them and they were silky smooth!! Not telling a tall tale here! They're made in Germany. If you're into crafts, on the box, it states you can use over glass and on dark paper. I loved Stabilos!!

I am giving this four stars because I love the product. The pencils are great for artists of all ages and perfect for smaller hands. They write very smoothly and can be used as watercolor pencils, basically. However, the set I received came with different colors than shown on the box. The crayons on the right are the ones that are shown in the photo and the two on the left are the "extra" colors. I'm still going to keep this set though, but wanted to bring to your attention that this may happen to you, too.

These are the best pencils we have ever owned! They have very rich colors, are easy to hold for little hands, thick and sturdy enough so they won't break even when dropped - and most importantly: they can be wiped off of almost anything!Kids are kids and coloring doesn't always happen on paper.. I have successfully wiped these off of walls, table tops, windows, furniture, children's legs, arms and faces, carpet, tile and even my laptop. All it usually takes is a wet paper towel, often not even soap. The only thing that it doesn't come off of is untreated wood. It will fade but not disappear.That being said, these pencils get used daily in our house (three kids, ages 5 and under) We got our first box of these 4 years ago when my oldest turned 1 and i now got a second box because they have become rather short. In all this time I have never had one break while sharpening.They are a little more expensive but don't let that scare you. we have gotten so much use out of them and they have saved us from painting the house more than once - they are absolutely worth every penny! They also come with a sharpener that's great quality, and when your little artist is ready they can also be used as watercolors by going over the drawing with a wet paintbrush.Everyone should have these pencils, they are amazing, and it's a shame that there are not more stores that carry them.

I bought these wax crayons to use with encaustic painting. They were recommended by a teacher because they work so well on the wax paintings to make highlights and fill in lines etched in the wax for the purpose of filling the scratches in with color. The price was really good since it was higher at most of the on-line art stores I shop. It might be because the company is changing the box the crayons come in as one site had a new style of box in their ad. These wood covered wax crayons are called "3 in 1" because they are water soluble so they can be used for water color painting, wax based so they can be used as regular crayons (but kind of pricey for that use), and can be sharpened like a colored pencil and used like one (again--a little pricey for that). To use as a water color crayon you can either draw a line of wax inside the outline but near the outside of the item you want to color, then dampen a paint brush and brush it over the wax to liquefy it and draw color into the picture. The color will be darker near the outline and shade to a lighter color toward the center making a very pretty effect. You can also scribble a bit of the was onto a piece of plastic like an old flat container lid, dampen a brush and stroke it over the spot of color to liquefy it, then paint with the color like ordinary water color paint. You can also color over the surface of a rubber stamp, lightly spritz with water, let the water set on the stamp for a few seconds to liquefy the color, then stamp on card stock for a paint brush effect. Stamps with large flat surfaces work best for this since tiny details won't stamp well with this method. In my opinion, using these crayons in water color painting and on rubber stamps are the best uses for these crayons. Since I am new to encaustic painting I haven't tried them on wax yet, but the video where they were used on wax made it look very simple.

Hey, amateur artists! I saw this product on a Maremi's Small Arts YouTube product trial video and it's a winner! I originally bought a smaller color package (10 woodys) to try, but have opted to gain the additional hues (18 woodys), SO worth it! Perfect for journaling, crafting, really anyone who uses watercolor. Great for additional edging, shading (do dry with a finger smear) or use with or add water to your project as true wc paint. They seem very durable and though I have used them frequently, they do not wear down quickly. Work well on a gesso or non gesso surface. Have fun!

Ich verweise nur auf die Ökotestausgabe von 10/2018, Ergebnis: ungenügend!!!Die Stifte landen nun in der Mülltonne. Wie kann man nur Ersatzweichmacher, krebserregende Stoffe, halogenorganische Verbindungen und, und, und in Stifte packen die kleine Kinder mit hoher Wahrscheinlichkeit auch mal in den Kontakt mit ihren Schleimhäuten bringen. Schämen sollte Stabilo sich und noch vieles mehr. In der Kategorie eines der teuerste und zugleich unterirdischsten Produkte.

Aufgrund ihrer Vielseitigkeit haben wir die STABILO woody 3 in 1-Stifte immer sehr gerne benutzt.+++Ökotest+++Dann stieß ich durch Zufall auf die Ergebnisse eines Testberichts von Ökotest aus Oktober 2018. Getestet wurden Buntstifte unterschiedlicher Hersteller. Mit dabei war auch der STABILO woody 3 in 1. Erschreckenderweise wurde dieser als „ungenügend“ bewertet. Begründet wird dies von Ökotest damit, dass dieser aromatische Amine, Ersatzweichmacher und halogenorganische Verbindungen enthalte. Diese Stoffe gelten ua. als krebserregend oder zumindest krebsverdächtig und können Allergien auslösen.+++STABILO+++Der Hersteller hat sich selbst zu den Testergebnissen von Ökotest geäußert und auf seiner Internetseite eine Stellungnahme veröffentlicht. Hier tritt der Hersteller den Ergebnissen von Ökotest entschieden entgegen und führt aus, dass die woody 3 in 1-Stifte „allen Anforderungen der Spielzeugrichtlinie entsprechen und sichere und unbedenkliche Produkte für Kinder und Erwachsene sind“.+++Streitpunkt+++Im Streit steht hier vor allem das zugrundeliegende Testverfahren:So überprüft STABILO die Sicherheit aller Produkte nach eigenen Angaben regelmäßig nach der Spielzeugrichtlinie EN 71-9-1. Hiernach seien die STABILO woody 3 in 1-Stifte „frei von verbotenen und gefährlichen Stoffen“ und hielten „alle gesetzlichen Vorschriften und Richtwerte“ ein.Ökotest hat bei der Überprüfung der Stifte allerdings einen strengeren Maßstab angelegt. Es wurde nämlich ein Prüfverfahren angewendet, das normalerweise beim Test von Bedarfsgegenständen und Textilien auf aromatische Amine zum Einsatz kommt (EN 14362-1).Begründet wird dieser strengere Prüfmaßstab von Ökotest damit, dass „Kinder häufig auch an den Buntstiften knabbern und so Teile des Lacks in den Mund geraten“. Es wird auf toxikologische Erkenntnisse Bezug genommen, wonach davon ausgegangen wird, dass „Problemstoffe durch Schweiß oder Bakterien freigesetzt werden könnten“. Zwar sei die „freigesetzte Menge vermutlich nur gering“ und zudem existiere kein gültiger Schwellenwert. Ökotest hält aber höhere Sicherheitskriterien, also die Vermeidung krebserregender oder -verdächtiger Stoffe, im Sinne eines „vorbeugenden Verbraucherschutzes“ (gerade in Kinderprodukten) für sehr angebracht.Dies kann und soll nur eine grobe Skizzierung der Sachlage sein. Wer genauere Informationen haben möchte und sich ein eigenes Bild machen möchte, kann den Testbericht von Ökotest aus Oktober 2018 direkt auf der Internetseite von Ökotest (kostenpflichtig) nachlesen. Auch die Stellungnahme von STABILO vom 16.4.2019 ist auf der Herstellerinternetseite (kostenlos) abrufbar. Der Bericht von Ökotest wurde in 2019 übrigens noch einmal aktualisiert. Was die STABILO woody 3 in 1-Stifte angeht, hat sich jedoch nichts geändert. Das bedeutet, dass zwischenzeitlich weder STABILO etwas an der Zusammensetzung der Stifte verändert hat noch sich die wissenschaftlichen Erkenntnisse dergestalt verändert hätten, dass die Testergebnisse anders hätten ausfallen müssen.+++Mein Fazit+++Ich habe mich dazu entschieden, meinem Sohn andere Stifte zu besorgen. Denn egal, ob sich nun tatsächlich Schadstoffe aus den woody-Stiften lösen oder nicht, möchte ich ihm keine belasteten Stifte anbieten, wenn Alternativen vorhanden sind. Ich teile die Ansicht, dass krebserregende oder zumindest -verdächtige Stoffe gerade in Kinderprodukten überhaupt nichts zu suchen haben. Und ja, es gibt tatsächlich schadstofflose Alternativen, die erfreulicherweise sogar preiswerter sind!Dies ergibt sich sowohl aus den Ergebnissen des Tests von Ökotest als auch aus einem aktuellen Test Von Stiftung Warentest aus Juli 2019 (ebenfalls kostenpflichtig abrufbar).Als kleine Hilfestellung für die Eltern empfehlen sowohl Ökotest als auch Stiftung Warentest am besten unlackierte Stifte aus naturbelassenem Holz zu kaufen, da sich die Schadstoffe oftmals in der Mine oder im Lack befänden.

Wir haben diese Stifte auch gerne benutzt. Das Oekotest in der Ausgabe Oktober 2018 die jetzt allerdings mit einem ungenügend auf Grund halogenorganische Verbindungen und Ersatzweichmachern bewertet schockiert mich schon.

Also zuerst einmal zu den Stiften und dann zu den Rezensionen die Angst machen wegen dem „ungenügenden“ Ergebnis von Ökotest:Zu den Stiften:- schön groß, nichts kann verschluckt werden- abwaschbar falls mal etwas an der Wand landet.- Spitze ist auch nicht hart somit keine Verletzungsgefahr- alle Farben vorhanden- sehr griffigZum Ökotest:Wenn man solche Tests liest sollte man sich Fragen ob es korrekt ist wie getestet wurde:Mit einem Testverfahren für Textilien.Dort wird dem Gegenstand eine Chemikalie zugemischt und der Testgegenstand auf 70 Grad erhitzt. Dabei werden die ungesunden Stoffe freigesetzt.Fazit:- sehr guter Stift mit dem unser Kind gerne malt.- unbedenklich so lange sie ihr Kind nicht versehentlich gemeinsam mit den Stiften in die Testchemikalie setzen und auf 70 Grad erhitzen :-)

Ces crayons sont parfaits pour de petites mains.Ils sont bien épais et pas trop longs.Je les ai achetés pour ma fille de 20 mois.Mon impression est mitigée :- ils sont très gras. Ce qui est formidable pour dessiner sur une vitre ou un mirroir, mais également sur du papier, du carton, du carrelage ... un mur, du papier peint ...- Même si nous avons évité les catastrophes, il faut toujours savoir un oeil sur ces crayons, s'assurer que son petit monstre n'en n'a pas caché un et bien les ranger, au risque de voir son intérieur se transformer en oeuvre d'art.- Si vous cherchez des crayons pour dessiner sur du papier, je les déconseille pour les plus jeunes. Ils marquent beaucoup et sur tout support. Ils sont "pastel-isables", autant dire qur ça tâche les doigts et les langues s'ils y mettent encore à la bouche. Préférez dans ce cas des crayons plus secs.- Ils sont quand même très sympas. Je les donne à fille quand j'ai besoin d'un peu de temps dans la salle-de-bain et elle peut dessiner sur la vitre de la douche. Ils sont très résistants. Et si on garde un oeil sur notre progéniture, il n'y a aucune raison que ça se passe mal.- Ça se lave extrêmement bien sur une surface lisse ou vitrée, avec un chiffon et de l'eau.Merci d'indiquer si ce commentaire vous a été utile.
