Simple & Lightweight Solution for Modern Devices that Lack USB A Ports
I use a laptop to program two-way radios. This laptop was a free acquisition and fairly new, but lacks any USB-A ports. Many of the cables I use are not available in USB-C, and I wouldn't want to buy all of my cables again just to get them with USB-C ends..This short cable is a great solution to using USB-A cables and devices with a USB-C only laptop. If you need to carry the laptop around or work in and out of vehicles, it's nice to not have a bulky USB hub hanging from the side of your computer while moving around..The cable appears well made and works as expected. The "Driverless Technology" in the title is kind of scammy though. It's a passive cable, of course you will not need a driver. I still consider the simplicity a plus. You know that you won't have to mess around with installing a driver while in the middle of a project, or if you switch to a new computer. There is very little to go wrong; it just works.
