We recently got this for our daughter's birthday. She's been into exploring and going on adventures. The binoculars are amazing and she loves the whistle and thermometer. We love that everything can be kept in the sack that it came with! The flashlight is extremely durable! It survived quite a few drops and falls. Although pieces came out, we were still able to put it back together and lo and behold it still works! The only thing we didn't like was the strap for the container. It doesn't hold well and keeps coming loose causing it to fall when she tries to carry it over her shoulder. I would advise keeping in the bag. Otherwise, totally recommend as a great junior explorer kit.

I bought this set for my 5 year old son who has recently been getting very into bug catching and identifying. It has been wonderful to use in just our back yard during the pandemic, and we have also started taking it on our hikes.This was wonderfully packaged and it felt like I was opening something from a high end store. Everything if very nicely individually boxed inside of a bigger box. My son loves everything it came with and has already found many bugs and critters. I really like the whistle it came with and have him wear it around his neck when we go on hikes. I would highly recommend this to any parent of nature curious kids or for gifting to a curious kid you know.

I bought this for my friends son because he loves to catch bugs. The included magnifying glass and holder makes it easy for him to examine his "specimens" before releasing them. I'd purchase this for any kid interested in bugs/nature.

I bought this as a gift for my grandsons. They have throughly enjoyed it!I would highly recommend. Also the activity book was a surprise and verygenerous and helpful.

I purchased this for my 5 year old grandson & 3 year old granddaughter. They were thrilled when they opened it! I got a nature book with stickers to go with it, & they immediately plunked down in the yard to see what they could find to match the stickers for the book. I'm hoping it will give them lots of fun together outside during the spring and summer!

I got these for my nephews for their birthdays, and I am SO excited to give these kits to them. The love the outdoors and exploring and these kits are going to help them really dig in to it. The explorer activity book is out of this world. You can tell that it was really made with kids creativity and exploration in mind. Extremely pleased with this purchase.

Our 7 year old grandson was delighted to open this present. He loves the outdoors and bugs and critters. I think he will have a lot of fun using all the tools.
