I do have to say the collar works. And I love that it does so without having to shock my dog. It’s not like those other collars you see with the 2 sharp prongs that dig into your dogs neck. The device on the collar is just a small square, and produces a beep on the first 2 barks. If your dog barks once more soon after the 2 warning it will vibrate. That vibration is not at all painful, but does seem to surprise my dog and stop his barking. I noticed after a couple days I didn’t even need to turn the device on, simply wearing the collar seemed to be enough. Although he did eventually realize that it was off, so I do have to turn it on occasionally to have the same curbing effect to the barking. Sadly, I can no longer use the collar as my dog has scratched at it so much the collar material itself is frayed and can no longer be used. It is too expensive to purchase another so soon. I would recommend for small dogs with a short term or occasional need to stop their barking, but for long term you may need something more durable. It does look like the device can be take off the collar though, and possibly put onto another? I have not tried this but am considering it since it’s useless at it is currently. Also, if you’re looking for something for a small dog (under 15 lbs) this is the only one I found that will fit. All the others on Amazon seem to be too large, or have those shock prongs. YOU DONT NEED A SHOCK TO CURB YOUR DOGS BARKING. i can absolutely confirm that simple vibration is effective. And much nicer for your pup.

I have 2 Yorkies that are rescues. One male (11 pounds) and one female ( 5.5 pounds). The little one would go crazy and bark relentlessly in seeing other dogs and sometimes even people. I tried a number of tactics and dog classes with no luck. So I decided to get a bark collar though I did not want to shock her. The beep and vibrate were appealing. I have had the bark collar for about 3 weeks and I must say I had to work with it to get it to work for my dog. She has a tiny neck. So, I needed to cut about 4" off the collar for it to fit.. Even then I was worried about choking her and had it too loose on her neck. When she barked the first 3-4 times of use, she stopped but then continued. So, I tightened the collar and have been very pleased with the results. Since her hair is long, I do have to be careful not to get her hair in the latch. I typically only put it on her when we are outside. For the past week, if she barks, it is only once. Sometimes, she sees and greets the other dogs with no barking! A miracle! I used the collar inside the other day when I knew a repairman was coming and would knock at the door. She did bark as she ran to the door but then stopped. Again a huge improvement. Great value also. I have found that the the battery life is good and charge it periodically. I have found both dogs are a lot less stressed and my walks are much more enjoyable. Now I just need something to calm them in the car.

This collar is ok, I bought it for my 8 week puppy to help with attention barking. First off he is 4lb currently and it was too big, luckily I am a seamstress so I just cut the slack and stitched a dart so it fit him snug. Now in terms of the functionality. The collar beeps 3 times before it vibrates the dog, I wish that was different maybe just one warning not 3 because these puppies be testing you. Then once it vibrates them a few times it will stop and break for like another few minutes before the cycles restarts. So it’s not like a continuous loop, my dog just whines through the whole thing.He is kind of a brave little guy so I don’t think he really minds the vibration and I turned it up all the way. It does pick up whining so that’s good and it’s easy to use and charge. But overall I would say it doesn’t work for every dog you just have to test it out and see.

Edit: I am giving this collar 3 stars because it works as it is described however our dog no longer pays it any attention. She constantly barks despite the vibrations and has grown completely indifferent to the collars correction. Initially this collar was effective on her but not any more.This is exactly what we needed. No harsh punishment, simple and effective beeps and slight vibrations. It will not go off when other dogs bark and doesn’t seem to be uncomfortable. From the minute we put it on, she made one bark and it responded with a beep and she has not made another sound since. (I’m sure my neighbors are so relieved because she is so yappy about everything). With that being said we bought the collar for outside correction only so she gets a break from it when she is in the house and not afraid to use her voice ( she likes to howl with music) so that was a huge concern. I really am impressed with this collar and my neighbors are relieved and not complaining. Gentle and effective correction, very happy with this collar.

I followed the instructions well by charging and blowing into the collar to get the collar to beep. It worked well when belting blown into. I put it on my 4lb yorkie and had to adjust it multiple times for it to finally recognize my dog barking. I had to really tighten the collar which causes her to have really raspy barks, assuming it’s on way too tight. Even then the collar beeps randomly and doesn’t seem to work when I do want it to work. Don’t know if it’s safe to have it on that tight for it to work on my dog, and most likely I’ll be returning this item

The advantage of this for me is the way it fits, and if she's literally at a full bark this seems to help with getting her to stop much faster than she would without it. However, even in the highest sensitivity it did not detect her major whining problem. My chi walks around whining for literally everything, so I got her this collar with the hopes of it breaking that habit. It did not do anything at all for it. I hope something comes out with the intentions of curbing the whining in her.

Nice and small on my small dog but strap keeps loosening although I have cut it to size. Easy to use and it appears to distract her from her barking.

So I charge it, press the "+" to max, put it on my dog. She barks but I'm not sure if it works or not. I don't hear the beep when she barks, i'm not sure if it vibrates. Anyway to test? How about me holding it and trying to bark like a dog?

It worked when we first got it but it dies so easily and it just fit a puppy yorkie its decent quality i guess but its very frustrating having to charge it all the time
