Had a Little Rooster (First Steps in Music series)

I’m a music teacher, and I use this book with my young students. They love singing along and seeing the beautiful illustrations. A great investment as a teacher!

This is a brand new book in the series and it is fabulous! My music K-4 students are going to love it. Jill Trinka has such a lovely voice. Every time I get a new book in the series for my room I ask our librarian to also get a copy for the library because the kids all want to check out my copy and I tell them sorry but knowing it will be in the library for them to check out. Keeping students motivated to read. The illustrations are beautiful. This folk song holds true to what version I do with my students. Lovely, don’t hesitate, just buy it!!

It’s such a cute book with wonderful illustrations. My PreK kids loved being able to sing along with me because they knew the sounds the animals made. We had a fun time in class!
