if you want your sword to keep falling off you back...
The fact that both of the threaded sections where you secure it to your sword sheath are oriented in the same direction means there is no way to make this snug enough against your back to where it won't just continually have to be tugged back into place. Far inferior to a three-point harness, but I thought I'd give it a try anyways and have to wonder if whoever designed this ever tried to use it.When you put it on in the intended way, prepare for your sword to just keep trying to fall down and keep having to shove it back up your back to keep it in place. Turn one of the securing points the other way around to where it forms and actual straight loop that could be secured tightly across the chest instead of just slung over your shoulder and it would work fine. Yes, I could lace it backwards on one end to accomplish that, but why not just make it that way? Seems to be against the intended use...which is head-scratchingly obtuse. You have to thread one end of the harness the opposite direction from the way its riveted and intended to be used to get it to not just continually become a sword-filled man purse hanging around your hips if you don't want to keep shoving your sword back into place all day.I personally want a way to carry a sword on my back all day at a ren faire. Not trying to be the witcher, but if it can keep it straight up my back and I don't have to keep adjusting it all day because it isn't designed back-asswords, that'd be cool.Look at anyone with a three-point harness before you go this way. It'll be a struggle to keep the sword on your back all day long without a way to keep it from slipping. Two stars since maybe maybe someone just wants a way to sling a sword over your shoulder. Works for that, but otherwise, get a three-point harness if you want it to actually stay on your back.

Well, it didn't come with instructions and it took some time to figure out how the loop-holes should fit. First off, the sheath holders are permanently as they are. I tried unbuttoning both of them but they don't give. So, I had to "lasso" them from each end of the sheath and that sort of feels rather cumbersome. The good thing is that your katana (real or fake) will feel secure on your back and the belt-buckle is easily adjustable. The bad thing is that when I tried to draw my katana, it's a bad thing (usually a good thing) that the katana is sheathed tightly to the scabbard because I had to struggle with it (when the katana is real, it's best you are VERY VERY VERY careful). Second bad thing, I couldn't FULLY unsheath the katana from my back when I tried to draw it out. If you ever buy this, you better have a less-than-secure scabbard as well as a shorter katana. Trying to sheath it back into the scabbard while it's on my back? Ultra-difficult.

Nice Strap
This katana belt is pretty nice. It has a durable leather design. I bought this for my son's halloween costume and it fit the sword perfectly. I needed to poke another hole in it which can be done easily with an awl. All in all nice design fairly good quality.

Product tears on itself so the belt was torn in bits and pieces by the end of the day I used it. Still, does the job and can't complain about the aesthetic.

It doesn't secure itself to the Katana as good as I would like it to since it has pre-fitted buckles... but still holds in tight on my hip. Too hard to reach the sword if strapped into the back.. but thats cuz I have a long sword, yes. It's not hard to figure out at all.

Use it for a Walkingstick
This is the one of the best things I have ever bought! I actually use it as a sling for my Walkingstick.
