Reliable
These batteries are reliable and at a fair price. They typically last us 4 1/2 years or longer in our security system before needing replaced. We use a 2 amp smart charger to keep them at peak power. I think they are a good buy.

Direct replacement in old alarm system. This worked fine and did not require any modifications

Works fine in security system
I replaced an old battery in my security system that would no longer charge. This one charged and the system is happy. No power outage since installation, so I can't say whether it runs the equipment for the expected duration, and it's only been in place for a month, so I can't speak much to longevity. If it dies prematurely, I'll update this review.Update 28 AUG 21: The battery has been in use for over seven months now without problem. It has powered the system through multiple power outages in that time.Update 5 MAY 22: Still works as it should. Numerous power failures since the last update. (Yes, we are prone to outages.)

Lasted 6 years as my security/fire alarm back-up
Re-purchasing this after my old Power Sonic 12V 7AH battery just failed. I looked up my previous order and I purchased the last one 6 years ago on Amazon. I was hoping for 5 years of life and got 6. So it exceeded expectations.

Use for laboratory freezers
I have to get these for our -80C laboratory freezers occasionally. Most lab freezers use these for monitor/alarm power backups, so every few years I have to replace them. They usually last a few years and plug right in.

Solid Battery at a competitive price
I was searching for a battery for my Mighty Mule gate opener. Most other sites were sold out of this particular battery, which appears to be identical to that provided by the gate manufacturer. It worked great and solved my problem.

Have used this product in the distant past.
Worked for an Alarm company in days gone by. This brand was frequently use as the backup battery in the systems installed. Performed well in those days. When I needed a replacement battery and came across Power Sonic, though I would give it a try.In use about 2 months. Charged to full power quickly, all aspects of my system functioning well / normal. So far, so good. Expect 3 - 5 years of service from this battery. Anything less would be unacceptable. Anything more a gift. Back up batteries that seem serviceable with 60 months of service should be routinely replaced.
