Such a good thermal camera, with so many features. The image quality from this device is amazing, and really does appear to be using the full 220x160 sensor resolution which is impressive for the price. I have used it for testing out my new underfloor mat heating for hotspots / deadspots etc.. and the image clearly shows that all is ok. I find the black & white setting the most reliable visual image to make decisions upon, but love the images you get from the specta/Iron colour setting too. I also used it for detecting hotspots on some circuit boards I am working on, and with the addition of a macro lens which I made from a 58mm focal point lazer lens, I was able to get crisp clean closeup images. Even without my macro lens, the unit seems capable of focusing to about 9 or so inches away which still gives you very reasonable closeup images. The hand image you see, is from holding my hand on the cold desktop for about 2 seconds, which is ample time for the camera to clearly show the heat differential. The image does appear to auto-range the min/max temperature points, but this serves to get the best looking image for the range of temperatures observed. Maybe a fixed range would also be useful to make temperature judgements more consistent. Taking screenshot is a doddle, and unlike others I didn't see the need for having video capture. Battery life is really impressive too, and just seems to keep going and going which was surprising. If you are looking for a reliable, well built thermal camera, with good resolution and for a low price, then I would look no further. PS, I have had no problems with connectivity to my windows 7 professional camera via the supplied USB lead.. just saying as I have read in some reviews that people have had problems. I also tried connecting to my newer windows 10 home machine without any issues. Thoroughly recommended thermal camera!

For the money this is pretty good. It doesn’t ooze the quality of the Flir or Fluke equivalents, but it does work, and it costs a lot less.I bought it to identify the locations of central heating pipes hidden in a wall in order to avoid drilling into them, and it has done the job admirably.The mix between visible light and IR images is useful, and seems to work well. Another useful feature is that it shows you three specific temperatures; the hottest, coldest, and centre of screen. This makes it very easy to find maxima and minima, etc.It can be a bit slow updating the screen when panning the image, but that’s no real problem, as you get used to moving it quite slowly.It’s too soon to comment on the long-term reliability or battery life etc. I’d put it at the top end of DIY tools, and the bottom end of professional.

Gives a reliable temperature reading, but it's strength is a clear image and excellent value for money.

Although meant to be used for close up e.g. engine fault findings it is useful indeed at a distance e.g. windows thermal leaks. The field of view is obviously narrow and the resolution limited though sufficient. Great

Ich habe mir die Wärmebildkamera gekauft um die Heiz/Kühlleitungen meiner Deckenheizung zu finden.Einerseits für die Auswahl von Deckenlampen sowie für deren Montage.Hat wunderbar funktioniert. Besser knapp 400 Euro hierfür ausgeben als die Reparaturkosten für missglückten Bohrungen.Verglichen mit teureren Geräten hat diese Kamera eine geringere Auflösung. Für Anwendungen im privaten Gebrauch reicht sie allemal.Würde sie wieder kaufen.

Destacaría la facilidad de uso , muy intuitivo.Es fácil de manejar y pesa poco.La resolución es bastante buena, quizá menos sensible que uno de uso profesional pero te resultará perfectamente útil si quieres ver tuberías de agua caliente por ejemplo.La veo muy práctica y el precio es muy competitivo. La recomiendo totalmente.

Seules des caméras qui coutent le triple le font, et pas dans tous les modèles !Très facile à prendre en main. Grande autonomie. Livré avec housse et chargeur.Le manuel est en anglais, mais très bien fait et voici un petit truc : scanner le manuel (ou un extrait) puis avec un OCR l'importer au format texte et le faire traduire par votre logiciel préféré !
