Perfect Size
This was for a project on a new cover for my pond. Amazon has some nice covers using fiberglass rods but i hav a tall red oak which shades much of my pond an i often get twigs an limbs falling which might destroy a fiberglass cover. Also, i wanted a flatter cover so that i could blow leaves off in the spring. These ties were for securing new netting to metal panel. Perfect size an very strong. Great price for 200 ties!

Very thick, seems quite sturdy
I used a bunch of these to hold my trampoline safety netting in place. These are very thick and UV resistant, so I am expecting them to hold up for at least a few years. My prior zip ties were not UV resistant. They gave out after about a year in the sun. I will add a follow up review if these fail too quickly.

Just what I wanted
A little more expensive BUT these are quality zip ties. If you buy the cheaper brand you will have a dollar in your right pocket and a bunch of lousy zip ties in your other pocket.

Useful attachment tools.
These strong ties are sturdy and unobtrusive. We used them to attach two separate fencing grids to our existing gate. We needed to protect our dog from sticking her head through the gate bars or have little hands and arms come through the bars. The ties worked beautifully and made the grids part of the original gate. They don’t weather well though. After some months they break and have to be replaced. Started using Velcro strips.

Heavy duty
They are very heavy duty. Have not been in use outside to know if they truly are uv rated and hold up

Best we could find that last
We use for our tennis court screens because most zip ties fail to quickly. We have found these to be more heavy duty and also last longer in the harsh sun and weather. 2nd time ordering.

Large zip-ties
You can try joining two smaller zip ties together to accomplish your task. But dealing with secure adhesion of your part may involve weight on the plastics with much higher forces onto your zip ties. Therefore, pay the extra money and buy the thicker plastic zip ties. I keep a good selection of zip ties on hand and having the extra LONG AND THICKER zip ties is critical and better piece of mind for load/ adhesion security. The pictures above were of my latest project using zip ties to help identify cables for installing a new e-bike controller box. You can use zip ties for so many other projects. Like my last usage before this, was when a duffle-bag zipper end broke. I just zip-ties in a new zipper handle and was back in business again.

Poor Quality
20% of the ties lock tabs don't work. While the strap seems sturdy and strong, the plastic lock tabs definitely can't withstand the weight advertised.
