Great product
This is an item that I remember from growing up. Mom had one and she made the best French fries using this. My 12 year old grandson and I made the exact same thing the very day it arrived 😀. Mom fried the potatoes in crisco, but we used the air fryer that arrived the same day 😀. Mom's were better 😀. 2 great products, money well spent!!!

Descent product.
Not as sturdy as needs to be. Thin metal pieces that are not as stable as they need to be. Product performs ok but would be better if heavier framed.

Love it!
My mom loves to make homemade fries so I bought her this for Christmas last year and she loves it! She's had it for almost a year and it still works really well!

What an absolute piece of garbage. Broke after 3 uses and left all the blades in the potato!
John's wife here: Had high hopes for this, vs. cutting potatoes individually with a knife. Didn't know that it came with the hidden "eject blades into your potato" feature. We used it 3 times, and on the 3rd it broke. First time seemed ok, but it didn't want to adhere to our very smooth counters (so, it didn't suck as it should have). Second time it not only didn't want to stick to the counter, but getting some of the sweet potatoes through the grid were nearly impossible unless the potato was already trimmed to a cross-section size a LOT smaller than the grid (ok, noted for next time). Took all of my effort to jam the potato through, in which case it then didn't stick to the counter. 3rd time we trimmed sweet potato as we had done before, and still my husband couldn't get the potato through the blades (It's a SWEET POTATO, not made of granite! And he's got ridiculously strong hands). Finally potato went through the grid and blades, taking all the blades with it! (see photo). Ended up tossing that potato and cutting the next one into fry-sized pieces myself, which ended up being MUCH easier and faster than using this contraption\. Bonus, my knife blade wasn't left stuck in the potato. Unfortunately our return window (wow, a whole month! So generous....) is already closed, because I'd really like my money back. Edit: Was refunded for this item after sending them a photo.

Snacking game changer!
This is a fast and efficient way to make fries. We recently switched to a whole food plant-based diet and have missed things like fries. My wife purchased a Ninja air fryer and set about hand-cutting fries. I remembered this from when I was a kid and so found this and purchased it. I can fill the basket now in a couple of minutes. Super easy! On the negative side, and not much of a negative, you are restricted to potatoes or chunks no more than 3 inches. I thought this might be a major drawback, but I haven't had a bag of Russets that didn't have 2/3rds of the potatoes be that size. Makes it so easy to wash, slice, and cook a mess of oil-free fries and serve them up with some yellow mustard for dipping and have a healthy snack with little clean-up.

Cuts Only Mini Fries
I should have read the description of this French fry cutter more closely. You have to cut the potatoes in half because it cuts only 3" or smaller fries. It works by sticking a potato halved down the middle (not lengthwise) and forcing it through a cutting grid by means of a lever. I have to use a good amount of force into get a potato through, and even then, sometimes the end of a potato gets stuck in the grid. Unlike other reviewers, though, I've had no problem getting the lever/suction to keep it attached to my granite counters as I slice. It comes with two cutting grids for shoestring and regular cut fries. The caveats in the directions make this cutter even less useful and less convenient. You can't stick any of the parts in the dishwasher. If you try to cut sweet potato fries, you have to microwave the whole potatoes for a minute first to soften them, or else the cutter will break. This is my favorite: "DO NOT apply excessive force if potatoe (sic) refuses to cut." I mean, all potatoes I've tried to cut have been difficult, so what is excessive force? I don't have confidence that this will hold up over time.I had hoped to avoid taking out my mandoline to cut fries, but even though this takes no time to assemble, it ends up being more work. Plus, it limits the length of my fries so that they are all stubby. Especially given the selling price, this French fry cutter just is not worth the space it takes up in my kitchen. Still, if I did not have a mandoline, this would be preferable to handcutting fries, hence my 3-star rating. It works, but it's a bit of a pain.-- Debbie Lee Wesselmann

Fantastic fry cutter
We eat fries probably too often. In a home with four kids, gourmet options for any meal often include chicken nuggets, mac & cheese...and fries. This handy gadget makes quick work of potatoes to make those homestyle fries I remember from my favorite sandwich restaurant from my teen years working in the mall. The options for different size cuts are easy to swap and cleanup is a breeze. This item is so easy to use that my elderly mother in law (VERY BAD ARTHRITIS) had no trouble using it and loved it so much when she watched our kids while my wife and I were out of town. She loved it so much we bought her one for her house as well. I'd definitely recommend this for anyone who want to make home made fries or just cut up potatoes easily. It could work for other veggies as well, but we've not ventured down that route as it would possibly be healthier for us. lol.

Duradero, buen diseño y de gran calidad!
Lo único que le faltaría para ser perfecto es que sea desmontable para facilitar su lavado.

It’s worth it but not worth it at the same time lol
So we eat a lot of fries in our household. I will say, the suction does not exist, and you have to choose your potatoes wisely for it to work. Yellow potatoes are the only type that work in this thing and I will say, it saves a lot of time. You definitely have to put a little elbow grease into it if the potato is too big and if it still gets stuck, I just cut it in half while it’s in there then give it a couple pushes and all good. But now I just cut big potatoes in half to save the trouble. Don’t even tempt with russets or sweet potatoes, they aren’t going through no matter what. I actually didn’t realize how expensive this thing was as my husband purchased it - it is not nearly worth that but in the same breath it’s worth it for those yellow potatoes. This was long winded but I felt it needed a detailed review. Haha =P
