SHARPE24AAV Air Adjusting Valve with Gauge 2210 for Automotive Paint Spraying

I must have got a dud, because this was either full pressure or no pressure at all. Why have five turns if it’s wide open airflow at the smidge of a turn. If you need a simple on off valve this is for you. If you want to slowly regulate the air in increments this does not do that. At least the two I got don’t. Frustrating

If you want this for a regulator, keep looking. They can adjust flow on a paint gun fine but the swivel on the two I purchased loosen up & leak. If you try and tighten down further, it gets misaligned and leaks.

I've been painting within the automotive industry for over 25 yrs. and to be quite frank,I only gave the 2 stars for the simple fact that it does work...but it's a cheap imitation

I think this is the best regulator I have used. I have had it on my graco spray gun for 4 years now and haven't had any issues. The valve works great and lets you turn the air pressure down to 5psi so you can clean your gun by holding a rag on the trip and let it percolate. The best feature is that the cover is glass and can be cleaned with lacquer thinner.

Good Regulator... wish the adjustment knob wouldn't be so easy to turn. Suspect it could move on its own.
