Probably not worth the risks
So this stuff is probably more harmful than anything else I own. It doesn't seem to be any better at cleaning intake and valves than cheap carb cleaner and break parts cleaner. Maybe it's for a specific grime I wasn't trying to clean, but with all the added harsh chemicals it has, it's not worth using or the price. It's nice the valve control is better than other brand cans. You can apply very slowly with ease, if needed without accidentally blasting it all over and back in your face.

Hard to justify the price when regular carb cleaner is similar
I usually use the SuperTech brand carb cleaner found at the largest discount box store. I had a cylinder head that I was going to start cleaning and ran across this brand of gum cutter mentioned on some internet forum, everyone swore it was better than anything they've ever used so I decided to give it a try. I honestly don't think it's THAT much better then regular old carb cleaner. I cleaned half the cylinder head with the SuperTech stuff and the other with Berkebile and the results were pretty similar. I'd give a slight edge to the Berkebile 2+2 but after shipping two cans is almost $20. I'll scrub a little more with the $2 cans and eventually end up with similar results.

Better than gumout
I'm doing a carburetor rebuild with an old-school mechanic and he said to ditch the gumout and use the 2+2, so I ordered some. I've always used gumout, but it's easy to see this difference and 2+2 is so much better. Based on what I can see, it's gotta be more effective at de-gumming what I can't see (i.e., inside tiny orifices and passages). I also use it to detail the inside of stainless steel exhaust tips periodically. These build up with soot and 2+2 really does the trick. I used to use stainless steel polish and had to put some effort into buffing/polishing by hand, but with the 2+2 it's a quick spray and a wipe, and they are like new. Good stuff.

NOT CALIFORNIA APPORVED - SO YOU KNOW ITS GOOD!
This is hands down the best carb cleaner out there. Its the kind of stuff that California warns you about, and that is exactly what lets you know it's good stuff! Warning - Do not apply to reproductive organs or ozone layer. Seriously don't... it burns.Seriously though, this gum cutter came in huge handy when recently rebuilding my LTZ400 which is a thumper type engine (big single cylinder). The combustion chamber of the cylinder head had a lot of carbon buildup, and this is the only stuff that would touch the carbon! It honestly seems to just dissolve the carbon, which is absolutely amazing. It also was excellent for cleaning out the carburetor, and made the machine run much better.

Its a little bit expensive but I'm glad to pay it to an American company that makes ...
I worked for a jaguar repair shop on the east coast about 10 years ago. We used berkebile gum cutter for everything. The cans are smaller than some of the big name brands, but it lasts longer because it works and you don't need as much to do the job. I've never found another product that works as well as this stuff. You definitely want to use it in a ventilated area because this stuff would drive California ecomentalists nuts. Its a little bit expensive but I'm glad to pay it to an American company that makes a product that works.
