Soldering Tips for Weller WLC100,Weller SP40/SP40N Irons Tips (7pcs)

Bought these to use with my digital soldering station. Worked perfectly. Tips are holding up great. No complaints at all.

I bought these to replace the tip of my iron that eroded down until it bent. I been soldering for over 25 years, and take care of the iron's tips. So far I've used one of the tips a few times, with no issues. I bought these because of the assortment that i thought i would use as oppose to the other offerings. If they last as long as the last one, I should be good for a long time. At this price it is a good value compared to the original manufacturer. Time will tell if they will hold up.

These tips not only fit my WP35 perfectly, they were cheaper than the brand name tips. So far I have had no problems using them at all. Did not rate a 5 star because it would be nice to have a smaller tip to go with these. Working with circuit boards sometimes smaller is better.

I am a newbie to the jewelry soldering, and I bought these when I ordered a new soldering iron. I knew nothing about them, and it turns out they were not what I needed so I can’t give a decent review about them.

I will use them, because they have the various shapes I need to make what I make. But that said, the headline says it all: They don't heat up nearly as quickly as the OEM versions. And we're not talking seconds here, but more like, plug them in, go away for ten minutes and return. They may be hot enough by then.

Nice to have an array of tips for different repairs.
