I ordered this doorbell kit to replace a 60 year old wired doorbell that had stopped working. Since you are able to select a different melody on each button, I set one melody on one button and a different melody on the other button so I could tell at which door the visitor was. The kit was easy to install and works great. I set the volume on the middle setting, which is plenty loud enough for me. I am well satisfied with this product and I would definitely order from this seller again. I got a brand new doorbell for a lot less than it would cost to repair the old one.

Bought two of these (one on Amazon after buying the original at Home Depot) for the office. We get deliveries to the front and back door throughout the day and needed some way to get the attention of the office staff while preventing delivery drivers/walk-ins from wandering through the building un-escorted. Front door and back door have two different rings so we know which way to walk. The first worked so well that we opted to get a second one to place in the lab in case no one was manning the office.Syncing up the second receiver to the original buttons took longer than expected but seemed to work just fine. While I was disappointed that we could not simply buy a receiver (whereas you can buy 1-2 buttons) separately, and the price of 1-1 set was more expensive than the 1-2 set, we kept the two buttons as replacements/extras. Mounted the receivers above the main doors and buttons to vertical surfaces with 3M command strips. However, a month after syncing them up, the second receiver changed the bell sound of the back door button to match the front (which is very confusing). Perhaps the button was damaged by something? Not sure but either way, still works relatively well. Receiver in the lab doesn't seem as loud as the office receiver (both set to loudest ring) but that may be due to running equipment. For our house the front door is far enough away from the living room that we often don't hear if someone is knocking on the door. The house is a log cabin which makes installing new wiring a challenge. This battery operated system was simple to install, just put the batteries in both the main unit/receiver and in each of the 2 push-putton ringers (all of which are provided). The volume control is adjusted by pressing the doorbell so the chime activates and then pressing the volume button on the receiver until the volume is as loud/quiet as you want it. We placed the receiver in a central location and can hear it frm anywhere in the house. I installed the push-button ringers with the screws provided.It comes with a number of different ringer tones to select from, but I just like the basic "ding dong, ding dong" sound so never changed it. I want my doorbell to sound like a doorbell, not a phone ring tone.I would recommend this to anyone who just wants a doorbell without the hassle of wiring, incuding mobile homes, RVs and seasonal campers, even apartments inside of 3+ unit buildings.

Replaced my old battery operated bell with this one. My old one was over 20 years old. Works well.

Simple to use, attractive case, loud noise

Only issue apparently smaller than I thought. Got to replace old wired doorbell in rental home. Original doorbell hole needed trimmed, that's all but not issue with product.More issue with me not paying attention to details

This is perfect for a simple system alarm. Make sure you keep after the battery replacement.

We got cold weather of minus 30 and below, this one works well and is easy to set up. I screwed the buttons in and battery seems to withstand up to 2 years. Could have better tones or melodies.
