I have a two year-old. This two year-old HATES having his hair washed and has hated it since he came into existence - literally every hair washing brings tears and is just a frustrating experience for us both. I'd put off buying this because of the spotty reviews, but figured what the heck, I'm tired of this, it's less than $10, and now I wish I'd gotten this a year ago.It's not perfect. But if I set this low enough on his forehead, I can wash the top and front of his hair and rinse the soap out before taking this off (we call it his "crown") and then I can wash the parts that didn't get soaped/rinsed while the crown was on. Last night was the FIRST NIGHT EVER that this kid did not cry during hair washing - instead, we laughed!!! He loves the it, I love it because I hated the hair-washing torture sessions even more than he did.My kid's head circumference measured 19.4 inches at his two-year appointment, so I went with the Big Size. I cinched it to the tightest setting, mostly to ensure that it wouldn't slip during the two minutes it was on his head (we don't tarry). I had no problems with it slipping, and I also had no problems taking it off. He said it was tight, but didn't complain. I think if he had longer hair it would have definitely been more of a challenge to use this, but for us, it was a great solution. I just wish I'd bought it earlier. Definitely worth the money.

My daughter refused to take a shower without a shower cap like this one. Last night she took her first shower with it and it was drama free, some hesitation of course but after she decided that the shower spray wouldnt hit her face it was fine. This cap has saved us, dont hesitate to buy one! Its soft which is great because I thought it might be made of hard plastic but it's not. This thing literally saved my life and no more baths in my house is a great thing. Baths take too long and it wastes so much water. This mama and kid are shower lovers now thanks to this adorable shower hat. It is adjustable so you can pull the tab to where you want it and make a mark on the hat to show you how tight you last had it. It is also very easy to clean off too! Dont hesitate to buy it, just add to cart for real, it will save you heartache in the end.

My toddler went through a phase where she didn't like water in her face but wouldn't look up when rinsing her hair. So I looked up options and this looked like it'd be great. However, I didn't find it very user friendly. It was hard to fit it properly to slide on the head without leaks. And I tried to strap it while my daughter was wearing it, it would catch her hair. Then even if I did get it to fit, there was some hair that couldn't be washed. After soo many times trying to get it to fit right, my toddler was over it and would not put it near her head. Seems like a good idea but I don't know about this execution. It was a waste for me, but it may work for others

My son has always loved bath time, but apparently a childhood fear of getting water/soap in your eyes, ears, nose, mouth, etc. is genetic. I remember being terrified of having my hair washed as a child, screaming and crying the whole time. Obviously I have outgrown this fear, so it’s I know it’s not a learned behavior. I still felt horribly guilty watching my son suffer the same fear. We’ve tried other hats but they’re usually just made of foam and don’t actually work. I tried what my mom did which was just holding a face cloth over my face and leaning my head back. Nope.I didn’t think he would even be willing to try anything else, until I came across this product with its awesome video showing another little kid using it, smiling, washing their own hair. It was enough to convince him to try it. Now bath time doesn’t end in tears; we get to have fun the entire time! It works perfectly. It’s rubber, not foam so it holds its shape and the ridges direct the water far from his face. It’s big enough (I got the big kid size for a 4 y/o) to cover his ears and basically go all around his head. By the end of our first time using this bath hat he was having a ball washing his own hair. He wasn’t afraid at all, dumping a pitcher of water on top of his head. He never would have done this before! Thank you so much for this product! I’m buying a backup just in case this one gets lost because I can’t see living without it now. Bonus: he looks like an adorable sunflower with it on which he also gets a kick out of. :)

Finally used the product with my son who is very particular about water on his face. This was the first bath since he was born that had zero tears or fighting when it came time to wash his hair. I only wish I had found this years ago, and that the strap were slightly longer to accommodate more years of growth.I was skeptical that this would work, and was worried it wouldn't be large enough for his head as these tend to be marketed towards the toddler/baby age range but my little guy is in primary school. It completely sealed the water away from his face, no leaks, no discomfort. I had him fold down his ears as the "petals" don't quite reach that far on both sides, it's more of a nice wide brimmed visor on him. We are near the edge of the side range, only have 3 or 4 holes at the end of the strap when secured.For anyone with a kiddo resistant to water on the face, I highly recommend this inexpensive helper for the issue of bath time hair washing.

Happy with this product, it works! I am happy I bought it and I would highly recommend to anyone.I was searching for something that would keep the soap and water out of my daughters eyes. I was sceptical of all the products on the market but gave this one a try and glad I did.I let her play with it for a few bath times as just a toy so she would get used to it and not fear it. Then once she was comfortable with this funny looking yellow hat thing I put it on her head. It took a few attempts to get the correct size. But once you have a good size selected then it just slides on each time without any fuss or adjustments.One trick I do is wet her hair first, add shampoo then scrub. Then wet the hat and slide it on. Then I just rinse by pouring small buckets of water on.I don’t leave a lot of reviews. But this was one product I really liked.

This hat didn’t work for my daughter. I wanted to return it. But seller didn’t accept to pay for return. I should pay 15$ for return. Don’t recommend this product and this seller.

I got a different kind in different colour which is not fit n comfortable on my baby at all👎Does not solve the purpose too
