This product was overpriced and poorly made. Edge - chipped. Grind - hollow/asymmetrical. Handle - not polished well enough, had ridge allaround. The leather sheath/cover - uncovered sharp point at the bottom tip of the blade. The top of the axe - really poorly made. Overall - overpriced piece of junk. I haven't even tested it yet on actual wood. It isnt hand made - more like mass produced at a budget cost. Please see attached pictures.Overall - hard yo gauge this type of product buying online, but the pictures listed by the sellers on amazon could be more detailed and less deceptive. Product isn't currently available and beware if it comes back.
