STAEDTLER8023 C12-2 FIMO Soft Oven-Hardening Polymer Modelling Clay - Assorted Brilliant Colours (Pack of 12 x 25g Blocks)

First time using polymer clay, and this set was great. Baked on a low temperature following some of the other guidance online and the results were really nice and hardened off well and still look the same a few months on. I had thought the finish might be a bit shinier but is matte, and I can see a few fingerprints which should have been smoothed off, but was just my misunderstanding of the clay use! Also gave the oven a really good clean out after this, as I'm not sure how healthy anything left behind is for cooking food...

Although it seems like there is only a small amount of each colour, if you are doing something like making beads or pendants for jewelery, each block goes a long way.It is very soft and easy to mould into shape, and there was no noticeable shrinkage on heating. This is vital if you want to make holes for jewelery fittings for example.The colours are bright and stay that way after oven setting.The clay is also lightweight, which is perfect for things like earrings where you can't have anything too heavy.

Easy to use, small size. Medium soft, sticky when you work it for long time. You need special tools. Fun!

The media could not be loaded. I love crafting, but normally work with Jesmonite and Art Clay Silver, both are expensive so I wanted to try something fun and inexpensive.First time using polymer clay and absolutely love these colours. There's 2 packs of sparkly colours in this pack, which I didn't actually realize till I got the pack. Once baked the sparkles came out even brighter.A little stiff on my hands to mould and soften but once softened it was easy to work with.Followed instructions for baking. Then left to cool. Once cooled I sanded a few edges and drilled a few holes. Once baked and cooled they become more like a plastic texture. Good and solid. I used Modge Podge varnish to finish them.Great for beginners.

Nice selection of colours. Prepare an airtight container if you don't use all. Used as any other fimo clay

Bought this to make doll food with a grandchild. Very easy to use and we’ve had a lot of fun with it. I’ve been careful with the baking though - only 15 minutes at a very low light - and think it does produce some fumes, albeit very very minimal. I just made sure the window was open and kept the kids away during the baking.

Comprei para experimentar, pois vejo nos vídeos gringos as pessoas condicionando apenas amassando com a mão. Realmente nossa massa nacional é bem mais fácil para condicionar. Fiquei decepcionada.

Good choice for a large variety of colors, especially if you are just starting out. It was fresh and easy to condition, colors blended easily, baked up nice an hard, colors stayed true. I would recommend!
