It is cheap!
You get what you pay for!I bought those 88mm wheel set about one week ago, and they were well packaged on arrival. I checked the tension of spokes, the dishing, and the truing. The greasing was somewhat ok! Once ready, I installed those bad boys on my commuter (my old road frame that I converted into a single speed). After just 20 miles and 1 ride in heavy rain, a bad grinding noise with little resistance showed up when coasting or reverse pedaling on top of that normal clicking noise that a freewheel does. It was constantly smooth when pedaling, though. I could not believe it was the bearings, so I targeted the freewheel. I disassemble it and find out that the 6 pins were pushed back by tiny individual perpendicular springs, making the big O ring spring not strong enough to hold the pins correctly in their respective chamber. I had to take off 3 tiny perpendicular springs (making a pattern: 3 pins with 3 pins without) to enhance the strength of the O ring spring.Result: It works so far. I lost some of that normal clicking noise when one doesn't pedal that alerts people that a bike is near, but it is still reasonably hearable by others. But most importantly, the grinding is gone. Conclusion: I am a first-timer with 88mm on both wheels. These look fantastic and are very cheap compared to big brands. That being said, I do 200-250 miles a week with a high-end road bike with 60mm in the rear (homemade) and 35mm front, and I like that setting better for mix: long-distance and climbing, but for commuting distances on a single speed, the 88mm are slick and fun to handle even in the city crosswind. To finish, I would definitely not trust that cheap rear hub (poorly designed) for any of my century rides. The rims look well made and solid to rebuild eventually with better components, but I still need time to see.

catastrophic rear wheel failure
Bought these wheels mid-summer 2017. This Oct (2018) a rear spoke snapped at the nipple. Fortunately it happened before the ride so I did not have to limp back to the car on an "out of true" rear wheel. Took the wheel to my local shop to see if it could be repaired. The mechanic gave me a call a few hours later to inform me the wheel basically exploded when he removed the tire. He was amazed it did happen to me when I was riding. I am not an overly heavy rider at 5'10" and 180 lbs. I had ridden the wheels 2500 miles so a catastrophic failure this quickly makes me question the build quality of the wheels. It is easy to be enticed by the low price of theses wheels, especially when compared to what a "quality" set costs. The wheels look great and sound cool when under pedaling. No sneaking up on anyone with the carbon hum they emit. Sadly, when you look past the aero appearance and fun sound there is a lesson learned: you get what you pay for.

It's hit or miss I guess.
244.8 miles in and the hub looks like a dog was teething on it. The Carbon is good but the hub is trash. I've spoken with a few people with the same brand wheels that had no complaints. I'm giving them 2 stars because when I put them to serious use (80 and 56 mile rides) they came thru but this hub is no good.

Great Performance!
My first set had issues with the rear wheel so I sent them back, but they got it right with the second set. Wheels perform great!!
