Custom Logo Wood Branding Iron,Reliable Leather Branding Iron Stamp,BBQ Heat Stamp Including The Handle (1"x1")

Received a month early. I make custom wood pieces and use this device to stamp my brand on them. It takes a little practice to get the technique down but when you do it works great. The image is clear and distinct on bare or finished wood and is very permanent. The letters on the stamp are so close together that I thought it would gum up between them but that hasn't happened. I assume the heat from the torch burns out any accumulation. Overall it is a great product and is very well made.

The 1st one that sent was missing a key part of my design but after a prompt short email exchange they had the problem fixed and the new one on the way. Even though part of thw design was missing on the 1st one what was there was of great quality and the quality was just as good with the replacement great product great price and excellent customer service!!

It's not bad and I should of realized the dimensions better. Little small but gets the job done.

I bought this a present for my contractor doing a kitchen remodel as he was bitching about everyone on his crew running off with his cordless tools. It came in a reasonable amount of time and is of nice quality. The dimensions were spot on for the blank it was milled from. Really a cool present but when you buy this keep in mind that we are guys and if you give us a branding iron - who knows what we are gonna brand. When I gave it to him - I made a joke (admittedly in bad taste) about neighbor kids and dogs, he got a strange far away look on his face and said "I wonder if it works on wives"...

I ordered this branding iron for a society I belong to. I won’t show a picture for privacy purposes. I purchased the 3” logo with wooden handle and leather strapPros: I emailed the seller to make sure the logo would work and they responded so that I could place an order in 3 days. As they told me it would take about 2 weeks to deliver. The iron delivered on time.I was branding oak. The seller states that a few min of heating is sufficient, but the temp for branding a hardwood is typically much higher. I ended up heating for over 10 min and used a small amount water from a spray bottle. I practiced a few times on some spoilwood. The seller is right: hold it on for maybe 2-4 seconds to get a good impression. I was pleased with the resultCons: the box they send requires you to dissemble the iron (the handle (shaft) from the head (logo)) to store it. I do not know what wood was used for the handle, but I suspect it was very soft. They placed a threaded insert in the handle to let you screw in the shaft (didn’t look like an EZ lock insert to me). After the first use the insert came out. I think the wood heated and warped enough that the insert no longer fit. I am trying to fix this using some Titebond to keep the insert in place (otherwise the wood handle will be useless).

The stamp is exquisite. Excellent detail, extra location points so it doesn’t tip, totally deburred and very flat,3/8 of an inch thick so it will resist warping. (Caution heating is advised). I am very pleased.Customer service was also excellent. They sent a pre draft of how it would look, I made a few minor changes. They sent a second draft, I approved the final draft. I received the stamp 3 weeks later.Really pleasedCharles Radgowski
