I have been learning Tarot for about 18 months now. This is probably the best book I have found up until this point! This is an EXCELLENT asset for somebody learning Tarot! Everything is very efficient, and the book is made of decent quality paper and highlights pleasant shading outlines. I likewise LOVE the segments of spreads, there are some extremely awesome spreads in them. The main issue I have with this book is the way that they energize overlooking inversions. There have been ordinarily that I have seen a switched card have any kind of effect in a perusing, as I would like to think they can be significant. As someone new to Tarot reading this book provide4d a good introduction to this art of reading cards to predict the future. My great grandmother used to do to Tarot reading and so this sparked my interest in reading cards. To me, as a total novice, this book was perfect. It is explained each card in detail, it meaning and reversed meaning. In addition, explained the basics of card reading. I may be tempted to get my own set of cards, but not quite convinced yet that I want to dabble in Tarot reading. Nevertheless, this book will remain on my shelf in case I want to restart the card reading tradition in my family.

The scope of research and organization is amazing. It completely reshaped my experience with tarot. There are study guides and flash cards on her website and I get the sense that she cares deeply about this tradition and genuinely wants others to understand and benefit as much as she has. But at the same time she is not dogmatic in her efforts to educate others. Very insightful and easy to follow with illustrations for spreads. A good all in one guide.

I found the reader difficult to read to and felt it detracted from book. It does make a very complicated subject a little more understandable.
