Beatrice Spells Some Lulus and Learns to Write a Letter

This book was purchased as a gift for our 5 year old granddaughter and she loves it!! The book arrived in a timely manner and in excellent condition. We are very pleased with it.

Beatrice really want to learn to write letters. The first step in the letter writing is learning to spell the words you want to write in the letters. Her grandmother teachers her to spell and she loves it. She wants everyone to like spelling as much as she does but it doesn't quite work out that way until the end of the book.The best part of the book for our family was the illustrations. They seemed quaint and old fashioned.

love this story, as a former 2nd grade teacher, wish this had been out when I was teaching! also loved the tender relationship beatrice and her grandmother shared. made me miss my grandmother who taught me so much as well.
