A definitive Power Wagon reference
Monty Montgomery is quite the enthusiast - he's been tracking and studying Dodge Trucks for many years. He's collaborated with Don Bunn and other key Dodge Truck Historians to create the Dodge Power Wagon Photo History. Accurate and descriptive. This book will never leave my house!

Photos,yes/ History,no
Some excellent photos but lacking in historical info, especially on military versions of the vehicle. Not what I had hoped for.

Dissapointment
Lots of pictures but I wish there were at least a few in color and a few of the interior. Not all that exceptional.

Not worth full sale price, in my opinion.
No color pictures despite have the front cover page in color.

Better than nothing, but disappointing and not recommendable.
Very disappointing. I bought this to keep as a reference and educate myself a bit more about the flat fender Power Wagons, but I plan on selling this book, and do not find it worthwhile to keep.As far as pictures go, they are all small black and white pictures (mostly exterior shots) of various pristine and derelict power wagons. No detail shots.Technical detail is terrible. In my opinion, making mention of the wheelbase, bed length, and engine displacement does not count. How about specs and discussion on the axles, transfer case, PTO, winch, wheels/tires, suspension and brakes?Honestly, I found that the parts catalog from the leading supplier of restoration parts, "vintagepowerwagons" (just google that), offers way useful information, and they sell lots of different literature on these trucks.I appreciate Montgomery making the effort to put the book together; but it could have been done a lot better.
