I need a new car phone bracket because the gravity system works well. It uses an exhaust port to clamp it. It makes my mobile phone very safe. I used it on a long trip to Google Maps, and I could easily see my route. Throughout the journey, the phone did not shake or screen shake, and never left my original position. I've tried my cell phone, whether it has a cover or not. Overall, I was deeply impressed by the mobile phone bracket, which looks well-made and durable.

I like this product, fits my iphone perfectly in my cupholder. It is stable, ease to install, easy to use and talk on while driving hand free. I must say this was a good purchase.

This is a great product, but the only instructions provided for adjusting it are in the form of a pictogram on the back of the box -- and a hard-to-remove UPC sticker covered most of the picture on the box I received. Would be better to put that sticker elsewhere....

Smartphone Cupholder would work better if separate, individual vehicle cupholder spaces were available. Unfortunately, my vehicle has a spring loaded divider between two spaces designed to hold two separate cups. Even with the three adjustable pressure arms fully extended, they are not able to securely fix the smartphone cupholder device in place. Also scored "install & Sturdiness" low, due to the small attachment arm, that is supposed to securely attach the smartphone plate, would often fall off when removing the phone. The work around would be to either glue the phone holder plate to the two slip in / sliding clasps on the arm... or loosen adjustable slide holders to act as a loose guide, rather than to firmly secure the phone while driving. Also... "suction power" is N/A, since there is no suction cup device needed for this product.

I received my car mount this past week. I have had to adjust it to my liking in my car, however it works pretty well. I am probably going to purchase another one this next week for a friend. It will be easy at his age to use it and it's not permanently stuck to his car anywhere. I love mine because I can move it about. I ordered this particular mount because I can free up one of my 4 front cup holders with this mount.It has a pretty stiff neck, stays in place and your phone can easily be released from the holder with a touch of a button on the lower back. There is no suction power on this model, so you don't have to worry about it popping up and off at any time. Also, it's a no brainer to install.The only problem I have personally is that I can charge my phone while it sits in the holder just fine, but I have a hard time positioning the phone to where my auxiliary cord can be used because of the left resting brackets at the bottom. It's in the way a bit. I did not keep that in mind when I was searching for car mounts.Other than that, It's a great little device for the price. I am going to purchase another one.

I had a heck of a time finding a good place for reception in my new pick-up and the surfaces in the cab are, as most newer vehicles I've seen, not smooth enough for the suction cup holders to stay on. I had ended up shoving the end of one of those in a cup holder on the console and it worked, but slipped out of place constantly. Then I found this and it works great - the end made to fit inside the cup holder expands and stays tight, and the goose-neck stem is pliable and holds the phone where it gets good reception and I can glance at the screen without taking my eyes completely off the road. Be sure and get the longest one available if ya got a truck so you can position it so it's not in the way of the shift lever or the cup ya have in the other slot.

The car mount is a great value. Well made and very sturdy. Arrived on time. It did come in two pieces, and was fairly easy to put together... despite the code bar sticker being right in the middle of the instructions on the box! I would suggest they find a better place for the sticker. (Hence the four star rating instead of five). Overall, I was very pleased, but unfortunately I had to return it. I have a 2012 Terrain and the console is a bit congested, i.e. the cup holders are right next to the gear shift, and once the “short” cup holder with the phone was in place it blocked the use of the second cup holder and had to be readjusted when shifting gears. The “goose neck” might have served me better.

I do not text or handhold my cell while driving! I do use "Bluetooth" technology when the need arises. Also, my vehicle provides a readout that lets me know if I need to accept or reject a call which can be actuated through the steering wheel. I never have to touch my phone once it is placed into the holder. This "holder" fits nicely in the cup-holder of the center console and keeps the phone in a position for charging without tangling the cord. The holder's side braces collapse against the side of the cell and holds it tightly. The release button is a bit of a pain as it is located on the backside of the holder, that would be my chief complaint. All in all, the purchase seems appropriate for my use.
