If you're on the fence and going to read a review, read this one. After 3 years of blasting this thing at full power on every bike ride I go on, it's finally started to....get a little quieter. But it still works fine. This thing is a beast. If you wanted to see how much this can handle look no further, I got you. Bike rides through downtown Detroit, the middle of the woods, mud and dirt, rain and snow. This thing was blasting. You'd hear me before you'd see me. Probably saved my life more than I can count. The Bluetooth never has issues. The volume is super loud. I've gotten caught in torrential rain and it was chugging along the whole time while I was biking through gale force winds and sideways rain. If you want a durable and LOUD speaker that will take most things you throw at it, THIS IS THE SPEAKER. I don't write reviews like this for most things. But this speaker was 100% worth the money. It finally started to get a little quiet for the bike, so I upgraded to their X10. But this thing STILL works. I'll be using it inside for the coming years. Looking forward to giving the X10 a good review too. I love when tech is built to last and not for planned obsolescence. They don't have to do it. But they do. And I hope they make more money because they decided to make the better product instead of making money by cutting corners. Shout out to my d8 man, this thing is awesome.

Love it. It’s a neat little speaker, given that it’s actually pretty big. It’s perfect for my use which is for camping and stuff. It’s nice and loud but not too loud easy to connect and use the strap is a bonus. The plastic looks like it’s cheap but seems real sturdy. Idk if the gloss on it, is what causes that? You can use aux usb and doubles as a battery bank. We’ll see how long it lasts on my next trip….. hopefully the 40 hours that are advertised!

Amazing speaker! This one has lasted longer than any of the others I have purchased. It has great clarity, bass, volume control and Bluetooth connectivity is a breeze. The strap is comfortable and makes it easy to carry around. Love that it is waterproof too, I it into the bathroom when showering and I have never had an issue. Nice subtle Hunter green too, not a loud attention grabbing color.

I purchased this speaker to Velcro to the carpet behind the seats of my somewhat loud, older Corvette. I think it will do the job nicely, after testing the sound quality and loudness, but I won't be able to put it to the "Corvette test" until 2 months from now.Bluetooth set-up/pairing was easy and doesn't require a separate app.Functionality as a speaker phone is acceptable (I've only tested it in a quiet room, so again-no "Corvette test" yet).This speaker is very heavy and larger than most speakers I looked at in this price range. At over 6 pounds, the buyer should be aware that it's portable, but maybe not something one would want to carry very far. (Having said that, I plan to put it in my backpack and travel by foot, public transportation and air, just to get it to my destination - a one-time journey, I hope).The sound is very good, but I'm not giving it 5 stars due to the equalizer control that has no indicator of what mode it's in to remember it for later (it's more just trial-and-error until you find what you like each time you use it). Also, I think the highs could be a little more pronounced (it has enough bass for me), but for its size and price, I'm satisfied. Also, some of the equalizer modes are so muted/muddy-sounding, I'm not sure why they exist as settings. But find one of the better ones, and it has a pretty good range.Having said that about the sound, this is a good speaker for outdoor use. It projects well and has the loudness and lack of distortion at high volumes to be enjoyed in the wide open spaces. Put it in front of a wall, and it sounds much fuller.The speaker is built VERY well, and although I don't plan to put it to a water submersion test or abuse it. I'm pretty sure it would take quite a beating.As for battery life, I charged it when I received it, and after about 6 hours of use, the battery indicator lights indicate it is still fully charged (when I received it, 2 out of the 3 lights were lighted, and after charging, all 3 light up.I listened to and looked at the JBL Charge 4 ($129 at Best Buy), as well as the Ultimate Ears Boom 2 LE ($69 at Best Buy). The UE, I returned because of the way the controls functioned. For comparison, the UE, although about 1/3 the weight of the W-King, it didn't have the volume or sound fullness I needed. The W-King does and it was almost the same price to the penny.As for the JBL the sound is comparable, but it costs more and isn't as well protected from dropping, etc.Bottom line - I think I made the right choice buying the w-King.UPDATE: I took that road trip in my not-too-quiet Corvette after writing this review. Although I didn't Velcro the speaker behind and between the seats as I had planned (I wouldn't have been able to reach it to operate any controls), I was alone and just set it on the passenger seat. The sound was awesome and gave me many long hours of enjoyment. Also, the battery life was more than enough for a 500+ mile day. Probably all three days, but just in case, I topped off the charge every night. I'm happy.

If you are searching for BASS - take note:This speaker is without a doubt a 5 star speaker.BUT!While it does have bass, it is a tight and punchy sounding bass. A bass that goes well with the overall clarity of this speaker. The main unique selling point here is that this speaker is LOUD & CLEAR & WELL BUILT.BUT!For you BASS heads & AUDIOPHILES out there that are seeking a BT speaker that delivers that deep and resonating bass - similar to the type bass you get when your subs are knocking in your trunk... this isn't it.That said, I am keeping this speaker because it's awesome.

I love it! It's got an awesome clear sound, easy to use, and it definitely kicks. It's a tad bit heavier than I expected, but it has a shoulder strap. I live near the beach & plan on taking it with me, so that shoulder strap will be handy. I live in an RV and the sound fills the entire place. It came mostly charged, I only had to plug it up a hour to reach full charge, it says it takes 4 hours, that's probably from dead. I havent got to test the real playback time yet. That was a huge factor in my choice because I take it to the beach & will use it a lot outside. I love the look, it feels well made & tough. It says you can connect other speakers to it, but I doubt I will have the need for that, this is plenty for my needs & space. It was definitely sooooo worth the price! My last one was no where near what this one is & twice the price. Sadly it was stolen and this is one hella replacement!
