I needed a small bench to use for shaving my legs in the shower. At age 68 I finally decided balancing myself on one leg was not such a good idea anymore! I'm not sure the footstool will be used in the shower due to the available space. But it can be utilized anywhere and probably will be used in the house or on our lovely screened in patio. The bench was so easy to assemble with the L-wrenches provided. The nuts are doubled up for durability. The finish on the teakwood is beautiful. It is exactly as presented online. If you need something for safety in the shower, to sit on for bathing, etc. don't hesitate. It is such a reasonable price but is worth much more than that. Thank you for such a lovely product.

I was amazed! Super easy to assemble, hardware heavy and did not bend or break. Bench design and cutout parts fit like a glove. Again, I am amazed. The coloring of the bench and stool matched, and for the money, the sturdiness is above that of more expensive brands. I am buying another set for a family member who will appreciate being able to sit in the shower, on a bench, do her legs, feet and store her personals without fear of the thing falling apart.I gave 5 stars now. Will reassess in 3 to 6 months. We use the shower a lot and will want to report back on what happens after water meets the bench and stool. Oh, btw it has a polymer coating so I am not worried about the moisture. But we shall see. On the fence? Buy IT!

Nice looking and extremely sturdy, I was a bit concerned about buying a product like this online but once I got it home I now won’t hesitate to buy more things from this company! This set is sturdy, easy, to assemble, looks great it & will stand up to being in the shower. I was a little reticent at first buying a wood item to go into the shower but the these products are well varnished & the wood made me a believer because the company,Toilet Tree, uses sustainable bamboo to make less of an environmental impact.

This chair and stool are extremely sturdy and so much nicer looking than the institutional-looking plastic and metal versons one usually sees. And the foot stool is a great bonus...so much easier to wash my feet or shave my legs. My only complaiint is that the slats in the wooden seat are somewhat uncomfortable on one's bare wet bottom—the inclusion of a thin waterproof pillow would make this shower chair perfect!

This shower seat and foot rest set by ToileTree is very well made of solid bamboo. And, from looking at the cross grain end of the sections, it was some MASSIVE bamboo. No little sprigs here. Just nice thick hunks of solid bamboo wood that's some of the hardest wood on the planet. The seat is very comfortable. (Although, you may want to place a towel down, for the best comfort.) The foot rest is great for taking care of your piggies. I wasn't sure about the poly coating over the wood. I always thought just a good linseed oil finish was best. But, so far, this set has been great. I am so much more comfortable in the shower now. Five stars.

First, I would like to say the bench was sooo easy to assemble! Once it was assembled it was a nice addition to my bathroom!! It was great to use in the shower and tend to my feet with the foot stool (a definite plus). Since it's bamboo, after each shower, I took time and care to dry it thoroughly. After three months, I noticed a black stain (I presumed it was mold) accumulating on the ends and the planks were loose. I attempted to tightened the bolts on the inside to push the frame together but to no avail it didn't work and four more planks were loosened and eventually fell off.I did not attempt to contact the seller because it has been 9 months since this happened and unfortunately never got around to write a timely review. My advice is not to expose it near water and use it for towels or toiletries.

Ordered for use with our infrared sauna. Easy to assemble, although I got a little ahead of myself assembling it (even with clear instructions.). You can tell right out of the box how good of quality this item is by the clearly marked pieces, weight/feel of material and good instructions. Footstool fit perfect in our infrared sauna. I researched this brand and it has great reviews.
