ARIES Premium Series 4-PIN Power Microphone for Cobra Uniden Galaxy

I manufacture safety announcement systems for theme parks & go-kart tracks, the Shure PTT microphones was discontinue, I tried this microphone on my small 50-watt PA system & it works great, it has a lot of gain. It does has a small amount of noise but I am using it on a PA system not a 2-way radio. I 20 of these in the field so far it works very well. I am now test how it will hold up in the weather. I am using it on the Gulf coast, I will see see soon. At this writing I am giving it 5-stars, as for Durability, the jury is still out. I will amend this review in a few weeks after the outdoor test at the theme park.. the price is right for a throw away microphone...5-stars

Works perfect got really good comments on how clear and loud it is not bulky fits in your had just right . And I think that there made better than the astatic mic’s that are being sold now

Alright..... first of all this mic was very inexpensive so I didn’t expect much but this is a very nice mic, I can turn up all the way w no distortion or squeal and my reports are coming back saying my modulation is loud and super clear like it scares them when I key up great mic here, think we may have found a hidden gem...I’ve used d104astatics etc so far this is the best one that I’ve ever owned in its weight class handheld etc...I’m being extra gentle w this thing because I’m being told it sounds fantastic... great mic no doubt hammer time

This is your basic power mic that fits well in your hand and comfortable. Decent cord. Tested this mic and it is very sensitive to high noises, raspy on the sss. However this mic is extremely easy to modify if your handy with a soldering iron. You can easily change 3 of the electrolytic capacitors inside to give you a full clean clear sound. I used tantalum capacitors because they are best for audio sound. Mine sounds like the astatic 575 that is out of production. I will buy a few more of these mics.

Cheap and good mic

It works but cheap power mics just don't sound that great on air. It also seems to really amplify background noise.

Had to do a Mod To it for it to be A CLEANER Sound of Audio other than That it works OKAY I guess for the Money .. The OLD SAYING You Get What You Pay For Goes with This MIC...

These Mics are wired for the Cobra Radios. I use mine on different radios. These are really great power mics. I get good results back from my Friends on being loud. Well built easy to handle and uses a 9 volt battery.
