The ribbing is a bit tighter than I expected. My calves are not big and the ribbing is not stretchy. This by no means makes the socks uncomfortable. They have been through several washes and have not shrunk and do not sag.

OMG I love tabi socks! Came in faster than projected and the 3 pack is way cheaper than all other individual ones I've seen online. All the designs are great and fit the foot nicely so you can actually tell what its supposed to be. Living in Hawaii its great to have socks you can wear with slipahs because it just doesn't cold enough to justify full on shoes.

I love the colors in this collection, but they do seem to run a bit small. I wear an 8 1/2 medium woman's shoe and they just do fit comfortably, any larger shoe size might be too tight for comfort.

I love them, but they do not last long. The separation between the toes seems to come apart pretty quickly. Too bad since I really like the style and I needed them in the winter time so I could wear my flip flops because of a sore toe.

These are my favorite socks to wear over to a friend's house. As expected, they are mildly smallish and take longer to put on than my usual "whatever" socks. After several washes some parts are pilling and I mildly fear for their longevity... But most importantly they are fun to wear and it's fun to have people comment on my socks.
