Well, I love the music. 70s music , 60s music, it's the best.

Foghat by Foghat was another favorite of my friends and got played a lot at parties when I was in High School in the 70's. For many years I thought that the cover of Muddy Waters' classic "I just Want To Make Love To You" was the original version, and is still my favorite. The other favorite for me on this album was "Trouble Trouble", but I used to play the whole album both sides over and over. As I am much older after all these years, I don't play as much Rock as I once did in my sound system, but I still pull this CD out of the case from time to time and reminisce on my commute home from work.

Foghat's self-titled debut album proves that Southern rock didn't just come from the Southern United States. This album shows the band's long romance with black music really flowering, with numerous blues/R&B cover versions appearing, along with some originals in a similar vein. "I Just Want To Make Love To You" and "Maybelline" (by Willie Dixon and Chuck Berry, respectively) are the best of the cover versions, but the originals are very good as well. Foghat would improve on later albums as their style progressed, but here the basic elements are fully in place.

Amazing tunes from the 70s, reminds me of sharing an apartment with my sister. Great tunes, great friends & great times! This album was playing much of the time!

Looked a long time for a CD until I realized that Amazon had it on download. I prefer having a hard copy, but this worked fine.

There never was another band like Foghat and there probably never will be. A must have album.

Once again a fairly standard 70's hard rock/blues band. Although I quite like this I prefer the live vinyl album I have by them. I think a band that was better live than on record.

il est étonnant de voir que lorsque l'on est jeune,on passe à coté de belles chose! j'en veux pour preuve ce premier album d'un groupe que je ne connaissais que de nom et qui pourtant est porteur de tout ce que j'aime dans la "rock music"! "faire" d'un classique tel que "i just want to make love to you " en hard, fallait oser! quand au reste de l'album, on sent une évidente envie d'en découdre avec les groupes de rock de l'époque....à suivre.

Straight forward rock album, reminds me a bit of Free and Bad Company, Nothing fancy but enjoyable.
