Great for cell phone use!
First and foremost, I am NOT an audiophile. I just wanted a good hands-free for cell phone use. I am not a fan of Bluetooth - I prefer to be hardwired to my phone. The sound is much better than previous wired handsfree I've used, and I am heard by those on the "other end of the line" better than previous models. Comfort is very nice, and the button on the mic actually works, unlike other wired handsfree I've used. I have also found that the flat wire casing does indeed keep tangling to a minimum, which I LOVE. The biggest drawback to going hardwired is tangled wire. This one doesn't tangle.Bottom line, this is very good for cell phone use!

The design is awful and its uncomfortable and the buds will fall out of your ears like all the time
Do Not Buy! I bought these headphones recently less than 2 months ago and all I can say is that they are not worth your money. The design is awful and its uncomfortable and the buds will fall out of your ears like all the time. The microphone is so low that anyone hearing you will think that your a mile away from the mic. And if all of that wasnt horrible enough, one of the sides stopped working on me and I had only bought this maybe 2 months ago. So I would not recommend it. You can find tons of better headphones for a better price and they would perform better.

No longer works - I would buy with caution
REVIEW UPDATE (September 2016): I bought these a little more than a year ago and use them rarely and have taken good care of them, but recently one ear bud started losing volume and now it it totally dead. I wouldn't buy again. The seller warranty is only 30 days, so buyer beware.MY ORIGINAL REVIEWPlease note that I'm reviewing these from the perspective of an iPhone 5 (iOS 8) user. While I like Apple's standard headset *controls* better, I prefer the Voix headset better for ear comfort, staying in my ear without falling out, and the mic quality. As such, I'm using the Voix headset and not the Apple headset. I do with the Voix mic control had a volume controller like the Apple ear buds. If you want to adjust volume, then you'll need to use the volume buttons on the iPhone. The included manual isn't complete so here's my attempt at a more accurate manual, for an iPhone 5 on iOS 8. The controls might work differently on other devices. When you're in iTunes, here's how the controller button works. First, there is only one button on the Voix headset, unlink the Apple headset which has a button with an up, down, and "middle" button. So, this controller is simpler and not as useful or as easy to use as Apples. Plus, the button is a little mushy which makes it a bit difficult to operate. If I could combine Apple's controller with the Voix ear buds, I would be happy.Pause music - press button once.Un-Pause music - press button once.Skip one track forward - press button two times quickly (this can be hard to time right if you have butterfingers)Skip one track backwards - press button three times quickly (can be hard to do)Fast forward through a track - press button once, then quickly press button again and hold. As long as you hold, you will fast forward through the track. Take finger off button to stop fast-forwarding and resume playing at normal speed.Launch Siri - press button and hold. Then speak to Siri. Press button again to finish your statement to Siri.Answer incoming call - press button once.Decline incoming call - press and hold button for about 2 seconds, then let go.Hang up from a call - press button once. Be careful because this can happen accidentally.

Great sound and build quality; extremely uncomfortable to wear
The sound is almost like a pair of headphones - really loud, good bass, and very "stereo" like. Feels like you're listening to music in a huge hall. The biggest problem I had with these are that they are extremely uncomfortable to wear because of the extra "hump" to accommodate the driver. It presses against the curve of your ear and gets very painful even after just 10 mins.Build quality is great, sound quality is great, although the highs could have been higher, but it does have a very deep and loud sound. If you have huge ears, this probably might work, but for an average ear size, that hump ruins all the fun.

Surprising bass and volume at a reasonable price.
These earbuds have amazing bass and volume. They also are pretty effective that limiting outside noises from entering your ears due to their snug fit. I have an iPhone 6 Plus and these headphones sound so much better than the original Apple earbuds that there is no comparison. The highs and the mid range aren't quite as crisp and clear as I would like, but it is acceptable considering the ample volume ability of these earbuds. This is not a deal breaker as it can be manipulated with the equalizer adjustment. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a strong bass sound and loud volume with some pretty effective noise isolation (not electronic cancellation). Nice earbuds at a reasonable price.

Best earphone ever!
I have 3-4 different pairs of earphones, some expensive and some cheaper than this, but this is the best one among all of those. This is a great value you can get for the price. The bass quality is just fantastic for its size and they considerably block out the noise. The mic works also great so you can have long and clear conversations without breaking your neck or aching your arm.

Broke shortly after purchase
These headphones started off great, they did a great job of cancelling out outside noise and the bass was nice. I did not like how the mic was really low (at my chest instead my neck) so I had to hold it up to my mouth in order to talk on the phone. I had these headphones for about 1 1/2 months and then they just started breaking, even though I took great care of them. Very disappointed that they didn't even last me through the rest of the year.
