Look, I'll be honest: I've gone commando for years. (There's a medical reason; see next paragraph and save the pearl-clutching.) But as I get older, things... change. I thought I was done with the whole "panty-liner" thing after my hysterectomy, but alas, I was wrong, so yeah, these days I have to wear underwear **all the time** and not just one week a month.But I hate underwear. For one thing, no matter what size, brand, style, or materials, I always get a sort of pressure sore right in the crease of the thigh. I've had to have the area surgically excised three times, and the anesthesia didn't take, so as you can imagine I've been strongly disinclined to do anything to make it flare up again.Enter the Barbra underwear. For one thing, they FIT. I'm 6' tall and *mumble* pounds, so I'm used to the fact that most women's clothing is not designed for people like me. But these fit perfectly. And guess what - after 30 years of commando I've discovered what causes the skin irritation.These underwear have a wide crotch. I believe the polite term is "gusset," but whatever - this is a roomy crotch, y'all. And because my entire frame is larger than average, this means the leg elastic sits where it should. After I tried these on, I realized that I've never in my adult life had a pair of underwear that fit properly, even back in my svelte and slender days.The fabric is lovely, smooths and supports without compressing any organs; the colors are nice; and at least one person has said they look "sexy" (not too sure about that myself, but that's hardly the underwear's fault), but y'all: THE CROTCH. It makes all the difference. I went something like 18 years never buying any underwear and wearing it as rarely as possible; I've bought two packs of these and plan to buy another soon.Maybe I don't hate underwear after all...!

I bought these eight years ago trying to use up a credit. They have been hands down the very best panties that I have had in 20 years. I love that they hold my belly in just a little and yet they still fit under my belly too. I couldn’t buy from the same company because it went out of business and I have searched for these panties unfortunately the label faded and I couldn’t read the actual company name but I could read that they were made in China. Over the years I have tried several brands but none were right until I opened these. I actually yelled when I saw the underwear. I knew instantly that I had found them!! I now have them earmarked to reorder after the new year when more colors are in. These are great and they wear well and are super comfortable. You won’t be sorry if you order these!

I was hoping for true sizing but was disappointed to find the run about a size and possibly 2 sizes smaller than an average plus size. On a positive note, fabric is nice and seem to be well made. Just order a size bigger.

I am glad I read all the reviews before I ordered these panties. As a chance, I ordered 2 sizes up from my normal size and I must say, they fit perfect. ; ) They did not shrink much after washing and drying them still look new! There are a little high-wasted, but that is what I wanted, to wear with my workout clothes and any other time I feel the need for them. I was really surprised on the high quality of these panties! They were package individually in a their own plastic envelope, nice and neat, then again I was surprised as I thought they would be much thinner and stretchy, as they are made of 80% Nylon, 20% spandex, With a color matching 100% Cotton inner lining. Actually they are kind of thick, not real stretchy, like a shaping panty. The colors are pretty too. I like the feminine little scalloped edges and the cute little bow on the front of the waistband. Yes I really do think these are a great bargain. As I have paid more then that for just one pair of similar type name brand panties, for the price I just paid for 6 pairs of these! Yes, I would recommend these to other women who like this type of panties and want a great bargain. Just remember to order 1 or 2 sizes bigger, then your normal size. I just might the have to order the other set of colors now. ; ) (see photo)

They are perfect!I could see how most people would say they run large. I went up a size because of the reviews. I love them as far as fit goes. Very high wasted as I hoped. The color was exactly what I ordered an they seam to be very good quality. I definitely will order again. I'm 240 5'8 , 50 in hips an 40 in waist. I got 3x . They are not tight like a girdle kinda like bathing suit material. But, if I would have gotten a smaller size they would be a bit smoothing under cloths but if you have rolls they're not gonna help you with that . I wanna throw all the other underwear I own out!Seriously these are so amazing they don't roll they don't ride up they stay in place all day an are the best undies I've had in years. If you need to be held in somewhat then these are for you. If all your looking for is comfort then this wouldn't be it. I prefer comfort and am still looking for the perfect underwear that can be worn daily. That all being said I did keep them. I'm getting desperate.

OMG......I have had the hardest time since gaining weight to find a panty that fits correctly and is comfortable.These are amazing. I Immediately went online to order more after receiving and was a little disappointed to find they were out of stock in my size.I had purchased a similar product at Walmart prior to receiving but there is no comparison. I will be ordering these and only these in the future.FINALLY a panty that fits properly and is comfortable.
