Jigsaw Puzzle Sorting Trays 8 Pieces Stackable Large Trays

Not knowing if these sorting trays would be worth it or not I hesitated in ordering them, but now I’m so glad I did. I’m an avid jigsaw puzzler & sometimes even work on more than one at a time. These trays are as close to being the perfect tool for the task as one can find.The pros:They are a perfect size.They are easy to assemble & store.They come in different (beautiful, I might add) colors, enough to provide options for a contrast to the puzzle colors being sorted.They are stackable so don’t take up any more room than necessary in the puzzle area.The interior material keeps the pieces from sliding around.Cons:A puzzle piece or two will sometimes (not always) stick to the bottom of the tray if the tray has been placed on top of the pieces, perhaps only if it has been sitting there for a while though. This is not a problem if you are aware of it & can check for it when you move the tray.I have a couple of sets of the plastic Ravensburger puzzle sorting trays that I have used for a long while now but they are now going into retirement since these ByAllison trays are by far my favorite.

I really like these sorting trays. I do large puzzles and I sort pieces by color. I use one tray for each color. One side is made of nice, heavy felt and the other is an imitation leather if you prefer a smooth surface for sorting. I like the fact that you can use these as trays or you can flatten them and store your sorted pieces securely with the overwrap that is included. These are really nicely made, sturdy with METAL snaps — unlike other brands that use PLASTIC snaps that don’t last (Sidenote: I bought but returned the Ingoood brand sorting trays. Right out of the box, I tried to SNAP two different trays together and the plastic snaps on the Ingoood trays broke so back they went.) The overwrap is also made of a sturdy gray felt and Velcros the trays together in a secure stack with four “arms” (see photos). I highly recommend the ByAllison Jigsaw Puzzle Sorting Trays!

These are larger than I envisioned, but serve their purpose really well. They do have an INCREDIBLY strong smell. I left them out for several days, including some time outside with a breeze and the smell diminished but after months of owning these, it's still slightly present. The ability to snap these with either the "leather" or the felt face up is a great feature. I also often don't snap up all four sides and just leave one end open to slide the pieces out onto my board. Unfortunately after about 10 uses, the button has broken on one corner of a tray, likely because the snaps are very tight and require some effort to attach and detach. This was my first foray into sorting trays and I am very happy overall.

I love these puzzle trays. I ordered this and didn't open it for about 6 months. The trays come nice & flat for storing & then you 'button up' the sides when you use them for a puzzle. I loved how many there are - great for a 1k puzzle! The colors are super fun to match the types of pieces to the colors on the trays. However, my pink one had a button that was defective. I was of course well beyond the return date for this item since I didn't use it for so long. But I emailed the seller & guess what? They promptly replied & then shipped me a brand new perfect pink tray! So now my set it still complete. I had the best time using them for a puzzle & the quality is so great! Perfect gift for the puzzling friend in your life!

At first I thought this was kind of expensive but I really like the sizes that it said the squares were and I like loved colors so since I had a gift certificate To use, I went for it.However now that I have received it I am so happy I did!! I will definitely be buying some as gifts they are the most awesome puzzle accessory you could ever have! They made working on a puzzle so much more easier. You had all these different areas you could be working on different parts of it with places to separate them and then you could pack everything all up out of the way until you were ready to work on it again! I 100% recommend This product if you do puzzles or for a gift to someone else who does!And I am a real person who purchased it!

The chemical treatment of the leather produces a serious amount of off gassing. Eyes watering, pounding headache. It’s been a week now and still cannot use without windows open. In January. Awful stuff. We purchased because we didn’t want plastic

I had been indecisive for a while about the best solution for storage of puzzle pieces. After reading the reviews here I decided to give it a try and I’m glad I did!I love the variety of colors. I love that I can stack the trays either flat or snapped. I love the outer Velcro wrap up hat holds them all together without pieces falling out. I love how compact it is. I can easily stash it away.I was a bit apprehensive when I read reviews of broken snaps. Thankfully I didn’t have that issue. I however did notice some minor stitching flaws (see the picture included). Thought that is of no consequence.If I had it to do again I would buy this and I highly recommend this to anyone looking for puzzle piece sorting and storage.

This product is very sturdy and well-made. I love the different colors and the ability to break down the bins for easy storage. They have an odor to them, though....like vinyl or something? I'm hoping it dissipates after they air out a bit. This is the only reason why I didn't give this product 5 stars.

I got these to both aid my jigsaw projects and to function as dice trays for my role playing games. They are manufactured to a very high standard, have a beautiful bright range of colours, and so far are performing both functions brilliantly! I think they will get used for many other projects in the future.
