Lightweight, breathable, comfortable
If I could only ever wear Keen’s, I would. The support and fit is great, comfortable and sturdy (mostly). Like the Weight of them, and the ventilation. Comfortable throughout the summer. Of course not WP, but there’s a different Targhee model for that.Sometimes you get a pair that will last forever. Sometimes they last a year or so. I’ve found that the work models last longer. Others the heel designs start to separate.Still would only want to wear Keen’s everyday.

Nice boots but a bit cheap in appearance.
I like these boots for light hiking and even for working in the backyard. The toebox is a bit too roomy but lacing them tighter keeps my feet from slipping. I haven't done a long downhill yet, I am not sure how they would perform there. The insole is stout and the arch support is good. The material looks a bit cheap but they are fairly stoutly built. The toecap looks very sturdy, which is important because having the toecap separate is a fairly common way boots wear out. The tread is patterned well and the traction is solid. My size 13's weigh 2.6 pounds so they are fairly light.I like. They may just grow on me.

Great hiking shoe
This is a great hiking shoe for the money and I prefer vented over waterproof. Very comfortable and a great buy when on sale. I just wish they would be slightly lighter in weight.

picky feet
I have very picky feet. These shoes breathe pretty well. I have sweaty stinky feet and these shoes work pretty well. I tried the water proof version of these , DId not work for me. The sole is medium stiffness so you don't feel every tiny rock you step on yet not so stiff that scrambling over boulders and light climbing is good. I have wide toe box , I did NOT have to order WIDE and is just fine. Solomon shoes made my feet hurt and very narrow, Merrell vented shoes are too soft soled (just for reference), my feet do not hurt in Keen. I have NOT had any problems with the tread lugs coming lose so far on this model. I have had problems on the voyageur model, I still loved those shoes.

Nice Boot
These puppies are fairly light with great traction. They are ventilated, good for hot weather but they do take in fine sand, not to an excess though.I usually wear a wide shoe, but these accommodate my EE width foot just right.

Will only last 3 months max of real use
3. Third update After super glueing each of the lugs back on this happened today. Delivered March 15. It's June 12. Save your money. Buy a better boot2. Bought these a second time. (Vented, wide toe choices for boots are few.) For summer work this time. I do like the fit. Keens are great for the toe box.Pain in the ass to get tight around the ankles. Descent arch support. But...make sure you buy some super glue with them . The soles Will start to tear away from the shoe as well as the lugs with in the first 4 months. This is my second pair. Same issues on both. So, if you're handy with the glue gun, or wear them just to impress your hiking friends, they may last you a year1.(First review) Full disclosure, this is the first pair of 6" boots I've bought in 10 years. Not a fan of 6". I could not get these to stay tight around my ankles. The top string set up needs some work. But I digress.. I bought these for the sole purpose of doing a half marathon memorial ruck/march. Found out once I was there that it's all on pavement. After 13 miles my hips were killing me but my feet were not. Gold star for that. They are somewhat ventilated. I liked that. But the first thing I do with any pair of keens is throw away the insole.. Junk. Thats all I have to say about that...We'll see how they hold up over the summer in construction and add to this review in the fall

Comfortable
Bot is comfortable but a greenish color rather than brown, I noticed on line that that color is cheaper than the brown

Fits well and appears to be waterproof
Fitting was fineWaterproofing appears to be good.I have wider feet and these dont pinch the toes, an issue that I have had with other brands.

Keen
Poor quality soles. I purchased these boots for my trek to Nepal. They are very comfortable, good solid support around the ankles and strong toe support too. But after a few weeks of trekking the Himalayas the soles started to peel off. I had to buy super glue every few days to keep them together to get me through my trek. Although they are solid and comfortable, the sole issue failed me when I needed them the most.
