Good Product - Has My Dog’s Stamp Of Approval
For some unknown reason, my German Shepherd loves to carry her food bowl around in her mouth all day. I started to notice blood on the bowl when I would take it away from her to fill with food. Then the vet commented that she was wearing down some of her teeth. That’s when I decided she needed a different type of food bowl. I tried bowls made out of several other types of materials but nothing was working. The rubbery ones, she shred in two seconds just like she does with toys. The hard plastic ones were cutting her gums as much as the metal bowl. Then I discovered these. They seem to be just right. They have a plastic lining inside so they hold water and the outside is nylon. My dog has the best time eating out of these and then carrying it around all day. She shakes her head and tosses these around just like a toy. They have held up fairly well thorough her rough treatment. I ordered a different brand that was similar but they were too big/deep and she didn’t like putting her nose in them to get to the food. These seem to be the right size and they hold about 3-4 cups of dry dog food. I cut off the clip (she’d rip that off in a heartbeat) but that is a nice feature if you take your dog on outings and need to take a water bowl along. I’ve reordered these twice so far. They are sturdy but my dog goes through toys like crazy and i’m Actually surprised these have lasted as long as they have - longer than any of her squeaky toys.

Big enough for a rottweiler
I got these dishes to take on long trips with three dogs. Two are rottweilers and the other is a small russel mix. I was skeptical as to the small size and the big mouths and noses of my dogs. I kept measuring the advertised size of the bowls against bowls of the same size that I already had. I hunted for larger bowls and you absolutely cannot find them without having to take out a second mortgage on your house. These bowls are great for the price and they even fit into the covered well in the cargo section of my SUV (along with everything else that I own in there). They take up no room to speak of and they can also be clipped onto the dog's vests so they have something to carry!! All in all, they are a great value.

They work decently well- just like you would expect a travel water dish to work ...
They work decently well- just like you would expect a travel water dish to work (I didn't use mine for food). Very little spillage when in a moving vehicle. They aren't the most durable though, so if you're getting this for a teething puppy, or if you have a cat that walks through water with its claws out, I do not recommend. Holes are punctured through the whole product incredibly easily. Otherwise, it's a fine product.

They're obviously not meant for long-term travel
I bought these travel bowls for the only real purpose their flimsy construction allows: to get water to my dog on long, warm walks. I was tempted to buy a collapsible silicone dog bowl at first, but judging by various reviews I scanned, they seem to break at their seams. I just needed something cheap, easy to carry, lightweight, and that could hold water long enough to convince my reluctant water-drinker to stay hydrated on a trail. since they were roughly 2 for $6, my standards weren't that high. Good thing, too-- they're pretty cheaply made! They literally took a layer of thin rip-stop nylon, and a layer of thin rain coat material and sewed them together with bias tape to fashion a bowl. (And not very well-- I have a sewing machine and I'm now kind of wishing I thought of doing this myself! But alas, it would've likely costed me $30 in materials to make.)But as much as I'm ragging on their construction, I also have to admit that they get the job done. I gave them a good hand wash before use, especially since they had a chemical smell. I let them air dry overnight and they were ready to use this morning. I took one on an early jaunt with my dog today. It was easy to clip to my belt loop (mine came with the clip-- it sucks that some peoples' apparently didn't), and very lightweight and travel-friendly. It held water pretty well, considering it took me 15 minutes to get "his highness" too drink from the bowl mid-trail!All things considered, they will be a very useful tool to take with us on foot. If we were doing longer travel, such as by car, I would definitely bring a sturdier bowl along.

Light weight, not durable
Not sturdy at all. It weighs almost 0 pounds but the clip broke when it fell on the ground from waist height.... It also tears easily just from being wadded up in my hiking bags side pocket. Good idea poor execution.

They are exactly what I wanted and work exactly as I hoped.

do not buy
I was disappointed when I opened and inspected this product. The bowls are very flimsy and stitching was coming out a the seam of both of the bowls. I chose to keep the items and fix the stitching myself. Then today I was about to put one in my car for use when I travel with my dog and I notices a tear in the inside waterproof liner. I have been very careful in handling the bowls and I have not even used them, barely taken then out of the package. Needless to say, these bowls are garbage, one I must throw away and the other I am sure will not last long. Big big bummer.

Very convenient way to keep dog water and food.
Test with water for 3 hours before it started to pass moisture, very compact to carry around in camp or in the car to provide water or food to your dog, drys quick and easy to pack. This is simply a cloth bowl so don't expect it to be like hard bowl. when you are on trail or on the road you are not going to wait hours for your dog to drink. I keep it in my car glove compartment to serve as quick way to hydrate my dog and take it out and clip it on the leash as I hit the trail.
