Purple Dragon 8.0" Titanium Multicolor Professional Pet Grooming Scissors Set,Straight & Thinning & Curved Scissors Shear with Bag for Dog Cat Grooming

I was weary of these scissors because I ordered them and then was looking at the reviews. I tried them out today and they did great. The curved shears were very sharp and cut nicely. The thinning shears work well but are a little bit noisy. I didn’t use the straights so I don’t have anything to say about those. I ordered these cause I had to drop my stuff off to get sharpened and needed a set to hold me over until they are done. I am a professional grooming and I thought these were AMAZING for the price. How long will they stay sharp? I have no idea but they worked great on this haircut, I tested them out on my roommates dog in our kitchen 😂

I needed an inexpensive, yet good curved shear. All of mine need sharpening and I need to find a new sharpener. In the mean time I order these ..in purple 💜. Ive only used the curved ( which is all I really needed) so far and surprised at how much I like them. A little heavy compared to my more expensive shears but they are doing a good job. Curious how they'll hold up with heavy, daily use in the salon.

Not as sharp as my blade guy Trent gets them, but nice set for the price. The thinning shears work great, no sticking.

I've been using these for nearly three years on my pack of personal show dogs. They're fine. They aren't amazing but they're much better then the cheap scissors I bought at a big box pet store.Pros: cost, they fit the budget! Very nice case. They are visually appealing. When sharp they do a good job.Cons: the thumb loops are small. They're uncomfortable for me and impossible for my husband. If you have dainty fingers you may really like these. After almost three years of regular use the finish is looking pretty rough, but again for a cheap set that's not unexpected. My biggest complaint (outside of personal fit) is they don't hold an edge very well, but again better then my big box pet store shears.So, if you have dainty fingers and are looking for a decent budget set for occasional use these are a good buy. If you have man hands or intend to use them significantly these may not be the set for you. In what I've paid in sharpening I could have justified a much more expensive set three years ago. Live and learn!

I'm a groomer, didn't want to wait for a sharpener so I said, why not, just order new scissors and I have been very pleased. Theyre all there, from the straights to the shears. Get em.

I am in the middle on this one still. First of all I chose the gold color but it was not true to color I felt so it was a bit disappointing. Also it states it’s from Japan and IT IS FROM CHINA MADE IN CHINA the steel itself can be Japanese but it is not made in Japan. It is super shape so be careful. Also the case I must admit it is cheap and so are the covers for the grooming set. They do the job but it is not easy to maneuver if it is your first time. I don’t think I would buy again but like I said they do the job for now.

I have bought Purple Dragon shears for years. They have been my go to since my expensive shears were stolen. This is my 3rd set and I was soooooooo upset! They fold hair straight out of the packaging! The curves catch all the time. The action is so tough! It's going to cost me as much as I paid for the shears for my sharpener to get them to work. Never again

Not sharp enough on tips of curved and straights. Thinners were decent.

Hardly used one sheer fell apart and the other stop cutting Im not professional I just do my own dogs I may have done 6 cuts with them since I have only received them in Feb 2023 and its beginning of July, Ill add video later if I get to it. IMHO you're better off buying the $30 set and just replaced when it gets dull

Son bonitas pero eso sí, son de cuidado, mucho filo al principio pero se les va pronto, y cuidado que se caiga alguna o se golpee un poco por qué se dañan muy fácil
