CASZONE Flip Case for Kindle Paperwhite 2018 10th Generation with Hand Strap Holder, Ultra Slim Thin PC Leather Shockproof Smart Pattern Cover with Auto Sleep/Wake 6.0 Inch

This IS the proper cover for my 2018 10th Gen Paperwhite. However, it neither wakes or puts my book to sleep when it opens or closes. It came with that distinctive cheap plastic smell, but it goes away after about 3 weeks. The kick stand does close flush, unlike another review said. You just have to make sure the tether is folded upward, which is the way it wants to lay, instead of allowing it to hanging downward. The kickstand does seem thin, but the tether keeps it stable and it works well. I plan on trying other more expensive cases, but this one is perfect to see if you like the concept or not.

Buyer Beware! This cover looks nice, but is poorly made and needs feature improvements to work well. The vendor is not Amazon and will blackmail you if you ask to return it. They told me that they would only refund my money if I first write a positive review and then ship them back to China. Amazon needs to protect us from these vendors. Here are the two issues: the cover hinge is not sturdy enough to hold the kindle without sagging and the cover does not hold itself open. If you put your hand on the strap and sit or lay down the kiundle will swing open on the hinge and make it difficult to read, if it doesn't hit you in the face!

This sparkly rose gold Kindle case is cute and fits my Kindle Paperwhite perfectly. It adds very little weight to the Kindle and the sleep mode works as it should. The only design tweak I would make is to put the hand strap closer to the spine edge so that my small hand could actually fit inside the strap. The strap is centered on the inside of the cover and you need very long fingers to slip into the strap. Other than that minor issue I like this cover very much.

First of all, the hand strap I pretty tight. I bought this for the comfort of reading in bed, and he pressure on my small female hand was firmer than I thought, however still workable. But after just a couple of weeks, the top corner started chipping away and falling off. The case had definitely not been dropped. I contacted the seller for an identical replacement, and was refused. I then contacted Amazon who refunded my purchase price. I will be replacing this, but not from the same seller.

It doesn’t stay open unless held in right hand. Would not buy again. Not easy to return. Using a rubberband to keep open. Magnet would solve this

The cover was as advertised, pretty, light, perfect fit. The vendor did great with fast, well protect delivery. The one problem was with the manufacturer. The outside edges were very sharp & uncomfortable to touch. I was able to smooth the edges using an old ceramic nail file. I have small hands so I can’t use the strap much & still turn the page.

All the corners began to crumble away within 2 weeks of use. The photos show the now sharp broken edges left from this. It has not been dropped! Just very cheap plastic!

This is a great fit for my new kindle paperwhite. Love that I can open and close and it will power on and off, plus the fact that I can bend it back and hold on to it with my fingers in the elastic make one-handed holding from either hand east (and I have small hands). great purchase.

This cover has poorly placed magnets so that if you fold it over to the back while reading, which is what pretty well everyone does with their Kindles, it causes the device to shut off the way it does when closed. That makes it pretty much useless, as you can't use it at all when folding the front cover back.

Didn't like the fact that it's plastic. Reasonably well made, magnet in cover doesn't always open the Kindle. Stand piece doesn't fold away flat. OK for the money.

The sleep mode is supposed to work when you close the cover. It is working, no doubt. However, when you flip the cover backwards to start reading, the tablet still goes on sleep mode which is very annoying.Will not recommend.

Its a solid little case the pleather could use some softening, I find it a bit hard to hold on to. But the biggest flaw and the one that makes a deal breaker is the magnetic sleep function. It puts the kindle to sleep when you close the cover. But the problem is that it also does this when you flip the cover around to hold the kindle. So the entire function of the handle becomes completely useless. Aside from that its not that bad of a case.
