**Update** I've had the hose a year now, and it's still going strong. No signs of wear or tear. Still coils easily as it retracts.I really love everything about this hose so far. It doesn't get tangled. My kids can use it. The expanding shrinking thing I thought was a gimmick at first, but I'll be damned if it doesn't practically coil itself back up when it's done. It doesn' really, but I did watch it shrink back toward the spigot as it emptied making my job a whole lot easier.My only question about it is longevity. It's coiled, but it's coiled in the hot sun. I can't imagine this fabric will last forever. If it only lasts a year, I'll think of it as a worthwhile experiment and probably go back to a regular hose. If it lasts two years then I'd buy it again because this is an okay price. If it lasts longer than that, I'll tell all my family and friends it's the only hose they'll ever need."Hey friend, how're the kids?""Forget about my kids, have you seen this hose!!!"Seriously, great hose though.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  This Anguslvy Garden Hose surprises me very much. The garden hose look short, but they expand and stretch when the faucet is turned on. It's of good quality and looks durable. I'm also happy with the nozzle, which has multiple spraying functions. The nozzle also has a switch for turning water off and on. I'm satisfied with it.

We often go to beach and had to immediately go to car wash every single time but now we can wash our car right here in our driveway. There are multiple settings in this like shower, stream and all which are very helpful for both gardening and car wash. Its very easy to use and lightweight as well. Their is only one point through which I am little disappointed is that even after using that little round thing which came along with this, The water was still leaking where we connect it to our water tap. I hope I could stop water wastage there. Rest everything seems to be good to me. I hope you find my review helpful. Thanks

The hose is extremely light weight, very flexible and maneuverable and much stronger than those expandable hoses with vinyl cover. I have now been using it for some 8 mo' s, and still not one crack. On a scale of 1 (very poor) to 10 (excellent), I would give it a 9.5 I recommend it to you all!

I've been using this type of hose since I retired several years ago. I have a small city lot, no grass, just plants, and most of what needs to be watered is in a collection of pots on the front porch. This expandable hose, which is basically made of a tough fabric reinforced with synthetic materials, lets me water my porch, the nearest flower beds, and using one setting on a very strong nozzle (purchased elsewhere,) I can reach everything on my front bank while standing on the top step leading down to the street. Once I abandoned the sprinklers and began watering only the plants that need watering by hand, I found I saved a hundred bucks a month on water at the start of summer.I have only provided four stars, because I've only used this thing for a week and have no idea how long it will last. Up the road I may return, either to add or remove, but so far, it's a sweet deal. The hose arrived in a box about the size of an average lunchbox, and at the end of the season, that's all the space it will take to store it over the winter.

My initial impression was that the hose looked like it would be durable. I really wanted to finally have an expandable hose that would serve light use of a couple of times a week to fill a bird bath and water a few plants. Well, I purchased this hose at the of March and within a month it began leaking badly in the middle of the hose. Not just a small leak, but as you can see from the pic, a big spraying leak. So, after only a few uses, the hose has become unusable. Will not purchase from this company again. Kudos to Amazon customer service for helping me get this returned.

Bought the hose about 2 months ago and have used it several times. When not in use it sits in the bottom third of a 5 gallon pail in the garage. To use, I pull out of pail and connect to water supply. It expands to about 3 times its collapsed length. Because of the flexibility of the hose, the water pressure at the nozzle is not as great as a hard sided rubber hose, but it is more than adequate to do the job, whether washing the car or watering the plants. The ease of use, light weight and small storage space make this a great addition to the household. I haven't used the bulky rubber hose since getting this one because of its ease of use.

The overall quality of the material is top notch. The brass fittings are superb! Durable on/off valve saves time in switching nozzles to sprinklers etc. The only reason I am giving this 4 stars is because of the water pressure. I lose water pressure switching from the standard 5/8's hose to this hose. I believe its because of the stretching and expansion the hose does. But all in all it is great if you don't mind the reduction of water pressure.
