These have stood up well to the abuse I've dished out to them. The textured exterior makes gripping things feel sure and secure. It's also only with the very hottest things that I cook where I've ever sensed heat through them. I love that they're dishwasher safe. Two nit-picks: (1) I wish the cuff was just a little higher on the wrist; and (2) they can be a little hard to take off (and then put on again) if you've been handling wet/sticky things. (W/r/t/ #2 there -- I use them a lot for stovetop brew-in-a-bag homebrewing, so I do a fair amount of pulling them off again/on again.)

I love these gloves better than oven mitts because it's so much easier to get pans out of the oven when you can grasp them. I also don't have the problem with these that I have with mittens of getting in the food while I'm trying to grasp the dish. The only reason I did not give them a 5-star review is that they do not prevent your hand from getting hot if you hold the pan too long. They are great for taking dishes out of the oven and setting down quickly. You just can't hold the dish long.

I wanted to like these gloves based on the advertising. They are waterproof, I'll give them that. As far as protection from heat, not so much. There is no real insulation. The silicone conducts the heat to your hand in 15-20 seconds at 350F. Even quicker the hotter it is. So, for example, if you're trying to scrape off a toaster oven tray, you'll have to put it down before you're done. For a quick transfer from oven to range top you might be OK. Has to be quick, though!

I used the gloves to flip our Thanksgiving turkey over after 2 hoursof cooking. It was easy to do with these gloves versus wrestling withvarious forks and other 'special' tools.The fact that I can put in the dishwasher and clean oil and food offthem so easily is a huge advantage.Great product. We are very pleased with the gloves we purchased. Bestgloves I have ever had for food handling/prep!

I ordered these gloves so that I can pick up the turkey and flip it twice during the cooking of the turkey for Thanksgiving. Large enough for men’s hands too. A little think but does the job

These gloves are truly the best-no heat comes through the fingers like cloth potholders.They fold with your movements so size really isn't an issue. Comfortable AND Safe!!

These gloves do the job and I like the color. I realized these were all silicone but now I think I would like a combo of cloth and silicone. the gloves arrived on time and I think I paid a good price.

Using for both a pot holder and then a swipe across the couch to remove cat hair. Love multi tasking
