Awesome product. Highly recommend. For use in instant pot.
Great product. I bought it to cook stone ground grits in instant pot. Cutest little pot ever. Make sure you are aware of size. It's small. I knew this. But if you didn't. Check measurements. The top is cute too. But i wish it was a cast iron top. But it's ok. I think it's originally supposed to be for steaming pr something. But i probably wont use it for that. The box it came in is super sturdy & not too big. It fits pot perfectly. You can keep it to store pot in. It helps protect it in storage. Would recommend & would buy again. In fact. I definitely want a few more. These would be PERFECT to serve soup in.

Very nice product for one person!
Superbly made, very pretty by itself. A warning: It is very small, about the size of a standard, single-dish serving Nabe pot. This device would be perfect for making miso soup for one, steamed veggies or whole-grain Ramen noodles. As with the other comments regarding shabu-shabu, I think you can do it for one person, but not a big group of people. I imagine you can also cook whole grain in it on the stove for one. A great buy. You can also toss it in the oven for baking, but not the wooden lid. Use instead some aluminum foil or another cover that is not wood. Great product, but very small. For me, it is perfect!

It's beautiful but it does not serve twelve people.
Too cute for words. This is big enough to put a hot dip in for a super bowl party or warm up a can of soup folks. That's it.

Overall this is a fantastic pot. it heats beautifully and keeps food warm ...
I bought one that was far too big for me, take heed.I've used this pot several times and due to comments about the lining coming off I've held off on rating it. I haven't found any problems with the coating except where the handles are attached. It chips around the holes but it hasn't spread. Overall this is a fantastic pot. it heats beautifully and keeps food warm for a while. I'd buy a smaller one next time.

Cheap, non-Japanese Knock-off.
This is a cheap knockoff of a Japanese Hotpot. Mine arrived in poor packaging -- the kind that Chinese imports are using, not well packaged like the Japanese products. The hotplate was warped and had cracked in half and the lid was to small and would not stay in place. The reason that the lid did not fit and the hotplate broke was the same. The wood was cheap and improperly cured. Shame... I'll be buying the clay pot from Kotobuki Trading. They are a Japanese company that sells Japanese products.

Couldn't ask for better.
Very good for the price and the perfect size for a few people. Do not use for frying though.

Poor quality
Beautiful pot but the lid warps quickly and the lining of the pot comes off when I dry it with a towel, which I find worrisome as it means it is probably getting into whatever I’m cooking in the pot.
