Definitely good enough to do the job, so-so quality...
I like my nicer tools to have cases, to the point where some of my cable testers are in $4 0 guerrilla proof cases with phone cubes on the inside, like photography cases but tougher. This is not such a case, although it is advertised as a hard case, it just means that it is stiffer than a cloth bag. it's not to say it doesn't have functionality, but you can't put something heavy on top of it.I was just a little bit disappointed in the dep th of the interior after the meter is put in, to allow leads to be put over in the half meshed side. One of these days, one of these vendors is going to realize that we put batteries and screwdrivers in that side so that we don't have to leave the battery inside the meter to leak. So when they only put the mesh up halfway or less on the lid, or part that is opposite where the meter goes, everything tends to just fall out and when you open the case these little parts go flying everywhere. In addition, the parts getting loose will scratch the clear plastic of any meter or other equipment that you put in the case. Like I said, one of these days someone's going to figure out the solution, but as long as people making products don't actually use them, we're going to be stuck with subpar designs. The good news is that it fits the intended meter, I have the 6,000, quite well, in fact a little bit too well as it has some vertical play, if you know what I mean. The strap holding in the meter itself makes using it in the case impractical because it goes straight across the dial.If you don't know what I mean, take a look at the meter and you'll see that the range and function selection is done by a dial that is spun 180° from off through the different modes back to off again. Now imagine the only black elastic strap, a loose one at that, going straight across the center of that dial.A well made meter case is one that does not interfere with the operation of the meter, nor the ability to read out what you are measuring.Cases aren't very functional if you have to take the units out of the protective case just to use them. then you have a case to worry about flying around or losing it and it has all those leads in it, as well as that spare battery.I know most people will say that because it's an under $100 meter, who should complain. But the review isn't meant to say that the product does not do what it states it does. In fact, it does exactly what it says it will do, albeit poorly. The review is low not because it doesn't do what it says, but because what it does does it so poorly and by design. Reviews that give a low rating because something came in the mail destroyed or missing parts, are the worst in skewing the results. The best reviews stick to weather the device purchased did as advertised. So in my opinion, it gets stars because it actually does hold the meter, but it has stars taken away because it does so so poorly. apologies in advance if that type of rating philosophy conflicts with yours.

Almost fits a Brymen 869s multimeter
I like the sturdiness, the quality of construction, and the red color zipper trim. The inside compartment is big enough to accommodate my new Brymen 869s digital multimeter by itself, but is it not deep enough to also accommodate the leads without needing to force the lid shut before closing the zippers. So I cannot complain about the construction quality, but it is not the optimal size for my Brymen 869s DMM AND leads.

A well manufactured quality case
The case is well sized; the multi-meter and leads fit snugly in the case. The case is very rigid, yet slightly flexible. The zipper is sturdy and the overall stitching is good. There were no visible defects; not even color variations. There were not even stray or untrimmed threads from the production process. It appears the manufacturer takes quality assurance seriously.

Nice case for AstroAI 6000 Multimeter
This is a nice case for the AstroAI 6000 multimeter for a respectable price. If I could change one thing it would have a little more room for storing accessories, I also purchased the upgraded probes for the AstroAI, that kit fits in the case but there is no room for the original leads/probes. Otherwise a 5 star product.

Great product that fits the bill (both ways)!
Appears to be made of some very sturdy plastics. The magnetic clip is more than enough to hold the light weight of the meter and is does much more than I need it to. I was debating whether or not to get the Fluke for 3x as much, but I just couldn't justify the price. If I were an engineer designing precise electrical systems then a solid 'maybe' on the Fluke. The Astro looks great and I bought the hard case to help protect it even though it looks like it could take a pretty solid beating. HIGHLY recommend for daily use on the job or for your electrical hobby or for diagnosis of home electrical appliances etc.

perfect fit and protection
The case is no bigger than it needs to be. Just enough room to hold the most often used probe test leads and the 4000 counts AstroAI meter. Can easily use the meter's selector switch and function buttons while the meter is secured in the case. The hard case and durable covering should be more than adequate protection for my home use. The zipper is also sturdy.

The currant tester does not come with the case. This review is for the case
This case is perfect for the tester. It will protect it from the elements and keep it in like new condition. You won't be disappointed with this case. Everything about it is great....zipper, strap to hold the tester in place so it does not accidentally fall out and break. It is priced very good.

Does everything I could imagine I need
I’m no electronics tech but I do a bit of testing and building projects. I think this multimeter does much more than I will ever need. I bought the test leads with alligator clips, probes, etc. to go along with it.The large display means I no longer need a magnifying glass to get accurate readings.Nice protective case and the magnetic “hook” on the back could come in handy at some point.I doubt you could find a nicer multimeter for the money.
